Chiefs Kingdom, you are not going to believe what Colin Cowardd had to say about the Kansas City Chiefs on his show, The Herd, yesterday. He said that the Chiefs need, and I quote, a reboot. He said that Patrick Mahomes has been in part of the problem this season. He said that Travis Kelce hasn’t been playing nearly as well, and that is why we are five and five. And guys, I just can’t believe these words came out of his mouth. Anyone who’s watched Kansas City this season knows that while Patrick Mahomes has not been the quarterback we’ve seen in the past, he is absolutely not the problem. And to call Kelsey the problem, too, it’s just ridiculous. Kelsey is top three in nearly every tight end stat. Mahomes was an MVP candidate just two weeks ago. He was the odds frontr runner. The problem with Kansas City, as I’ve said over and over again, continues to be our inability and unwillingness to consistently run the football. Got to get back to basics. Got to get back to finishing in close games.

  3. Kelce is over the hill and overrated. And for the past season and a half has had Taylor brain. Mahomes IS the problem. Or rather his contact is. You can't pay your QB all that money AND keep a team around him. Athletes are greedy and egotistical. Everyone wants to be the highest paid guy at their position. There's almost never the self reflection of "If they pay me all this money how are they gonna be able to pay ither guys?" But when there is, it's usually the QB.

  6. Three weeks ago on my show, I predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs would go on a three game losing streak, first Buffalo, then the Broncos and then the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs will be five and six after week, 12.

  11. Wtf you talking about? Mahomes has been a bum. I love the guy and appreciate the greatness he's brought but let's be real. It's just football. He's had an off year. Doesn't look comfortable. Doesn't trust the O line. D line is weak. It's gonna happen. Can't be stellar every year. It's a tough league. How many qbs not named Brady won superbowls during Brady's time?

  13. I think we need to stop trying to sum this up on social media in shorts, with little silly, unintelligent, and repetitive attempts at solutions. Armchair quarterbacking, while coaches and teams of coaches with a combined century of experience are spending their ENTIRE DAY focusing on plans to move this team forward with the greatest success possible.
    You know what this team needs? Our support. They need our undying support and love. They need true fans. They need people that LOVE THE CHIEFS!
    I had season tickets, back when the Chiefs would win 3 or 4 games a season. But I showed up to EVERY game and gave them my all. Because they are MY TEAM!
    That's what they need right now. They need fans like THAT!!!

  17. FACTS. Andy Reid needs a new golden playbook, because his plays against the Broncos were idle. Mahomes and Kelsey rock the gridiron. I’m proud of every single player on the Chiefs roster and practice team. We are going to pull it together, make the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. Let’s have a championship mindset chiefs kingdom. Let’s go Chiefs.🎉

  19. 11-0 in 2024 is not victorious it's an indicator of the offense going downhill stop touting that stuff. Now with the further decline of the offense they are still in one score games but they're LOSING them. Next season could be them losing by TWO scores or more if not addressed.

  22. Mahomes has absolutely been a problem maybe not the main one but to say he has no blame along with Reid not running the ball and veach yet again entering a season with glaring problems and not answering them.

  23. The problem with the KC Chiefs is 100% Brett Veachs fault. 100%!! And it was exactly one bonehead mistake. Veach waited til the 7th round of the draft to address Running Back and to compound our RB deficiency was him doing NOTHING in free agency. WTF Brett?? Our #1 weakness going into the draft was RB! RB is an important position. It's deeply undervalued. Our only chance to turn this is around is to mix up the roster. Give the younger guys a shot!

  30. Oh come on do people not see Mahomes has no protection from his tackles mainly? He is always having to throw on the run or outside the pocket. Jawaan Taylor is beaten 90% of the time and if he isn’t beaten he’s causing a penalty. Our backs can’t cover and we have no pressure on the quarterback. We have no running back and yes Mahomes has been missing wide open targets. Trade Chris Jones next year and get a running back and a good tackle for him.

  33. The chiefs haven't given any team a reason to be feared by them. No one is worried about the Chief's offense or defense, both have been mediocre at best.
