POST-RAW | Calvin Pickard 11.20.25

Calvin, just maybe take us through tonight’s result. It looked like you guys had it right till the very end, but a couple of quick ones at the end turn turn the fortune through. Yeah. Um I really liked how we played. Um you know, it’s not the easiest back to back coming from Washington. Um but I feel like we do things the hard way. We like to do it the hard way and um right from the get-go, we had a good good game. Um obviously in the third, they kind of took it to us. Um they’re a great team as well. They had some good looks, but um very unfortunate result. on the defensive side of the puck. What did you like about the execution? Is there anything in particular that stood out to you with the group in front of you tonight? Yeah, I feel like it’s probably the most shots I’ve had all year, but um probably the least amount of, you know, big chances they that we gave up. So, um yeah, it was really good. We were staying tight. Um you know, good in the middle, penalty kill was good, good sticks, let me see the pucks, and um you know, we kept the goals against. How did you feel about your game tonight? It looked like you were dialed in right from the start. Yeah, it was good. Um you know, it goes hand in hand. um you know, my back’s always against the wall. I needed to have a good game here tonight and you know, I did. It’s just an unfortunate result and um but you know, my team like we we really made it easier on me. Um play good defense and that makes my job easier. How do you kind of eliminate some of that noise that might be going around when you say like needed to have a good start? How do you kind of tune that out and make sure that you’re ready to play your game? I mean, ever since I got here, I’ve I’ve, you know, been game by game and um you know, it’s the hardest league in the world to get into and it’s even harder to to stay in. So, um really good game for me tonight. Um need to build off that. need need to keep throwing that game out, sir.

  5. Excellent game picks, if mcdavid supposedly the best player in the nhl just lifted the stick that tying goal would not have happened! Makes me sick, he’s shaking his head every game meanwhile he’s making a lot of flubs nightly.

  14. Keep this guy get rid of Skinner. Pickard actually takes accountability. If you listen to the difference between the two talk its night and day Pickard actually seems like he cares where Stuart said he doesn't even care about his save percentage.
