Carolina Panthers Waste No Time With Latest Signing…

All right, the Carolina Panthers waste no time with their latest move. If you’re new to the channel, we are Detroit Lions fans, but this channel fully dedicated to teams that just don’t get the love like they should. Carolina Panthers right there in the thick of it all. Let’s talk about it. They add a linebacker to the practice squad, Jacobe Winman. And you’re familiar with him. What I like about this is that the Panthers are thin there at the moment with uh a couple guys out. They’ve got they had um two guys that were on the field that they were really getting consistent minutes, but they needed somebody else. So, they added another linebacker. He was with the Panthers and had some time on the active roster, practice squad, appeared in eight games, two starts. Love all about love all of that. Plus, he was with Michigan State and UNLV where he was with the Panthers linebackers coach Pete Hansen. So, just a good signing, good guy that knows knows the building, knows the coaches. Love to see that. It’s hard to find these guys at this time of the year. And again, we think about the GM work as being something that is in the free agent draft time frame, but it’s throughout the season as well to find these little little things, right? Is he going to lead you to a Super Bowl? No. But is he somebody that just a just a nice little pickup? By the way, let me know in the comments your confidence level. 10 being yep, we’re going to the playoffs. No question. Zero, there’s no chance we’re going to the playoffs. Where you at? 0 to 10 on this. I think that you’re you’re a six, which is I mean, you’ll take it, but I mean, check check this out. This is what I love. This kind of puts it in perspective in relation to the rest of the NFC. BFF put this out here are where the Panthers sit right now. If they win this week, they jump all the way up to about a 50% chance of making the playoffs. If they lose, they’re down here and they and they join this group. You’ve got eight teams right here. Remember, there’s seven playoff spots. You got eight teams really. You can kind of see the seven here. And then it’s Chicago and the Panthers that are sitting there. Where are we at? So, they don’t basically the models don’t like the Panthers being able to beat the San Francisco 49ers. If they can’t, then that that pushes them back. But if they can, it’s like, oo, that that’s really good, right? So, let me know in the comments where you’re at. just where you’re at with this because we’ve we’ve talked about it a lot on this channel is man if I’m a Carolina Panthers fan. I don’t look at this as like oh shoot bummer. It’s like no I got two high-end NFC teams that we can just really figure things out immediately. Let’s So like Oh, by the way, just real quick, um was in Charlotte this week. Went to Pins Mechanical downtown. That’s right. Shout out pins mechanical did some duck bowling. Um that’s hard duck bowling. Where you at with duck bowling. Um in some ways it’s so much fun. In other ways it’s like that I hate this. I can’t I can’t figure this out. I can’t I just drill the head pin and nothing else happens. Pins mechanical Charlotte North Carolina. Okay. Find some things out. So, for example, in um CrossFit or any workout, there’s certain workouts like, “All right, let’s just find out where we’re at, right? And we’re going to find some things out.” And it’s it may not be what you want to find out. So, the Carolina Panthers may go in and just get destroyed in two games. And but but at least you know that, oh, okay, I thought maybe we were better. I thought maybe we could make the playoffs, make a little run. I I that’s what I thought, but apparently no. And now I know now rather than being strung along a little bit or oh my gosh, we won. We have to just win one of these two games. And if you do that, okay, we can compete. We can compete with the Rams. We can compete with the Niners. That’s all you can absolutely ask for. Um so let’s find some things out. some other things um that you gotta be kind of interested in as we head into this next um or this final part of the season. Um let me let me pull it up here. Um let me find it. Hold on. So Panthers are are in a unique situation here. If you win, we’re just talking about it. You shoot up the chances to get into the playoffs. If you lose, you go way down and you’re basically out. Why this is unique is because there’s a bottleneck in the NFC right now. If you go back here, let me let me pull this up. You can kind of see if the playoffs were to start today, you can see a lot of teams with seven, eight wins. The Carolina Panthers sitting at six wins. The Green Bay Packers are sitting here at six wins. Um, the Lions are ahead of them. So, the Carolina Panthers have to get ahead of good teams and it doesn’t matter about the bad teams. And you’re thinking to yourself, “Wow, very very astute.” Yeah. Wow. Why this is interesting to me is because you you have to pass teams. I think I think if you were sitting at the six seed and you didn’t have to actually get ahead of teams those other teams you need so you need starting now some help. Let’s like let’s get the p the Packers losing is what is where I’m at. All that to say Packers need you to lose and then you beat the San Francisco 49ers and you also need probably the Lions or the Bears to lose as well. So Bears or Lions NFC North teams basically Bears, Lions or Packers and the 49ers and and you don’t have to worry about them losing because you play them head-to-head. So we start to get into I think I think if you are a Panthers fan again and remember what we’re doing here, we’re trying to just watch meaningful games as far into the season as we can. So here we are in week whatever it is 12 13. It’s like cool kind of kind of like we can check that off the box. We’re we’re going to be in meaningful Monday night football game this late into the season. That’s what I was hoping for as a fan. What you don’t want is to be one and six and just season kind of over. No, I mean there and and we have that in the league, right? We have the Browns, Jets, Titans, Raiders, Dolphins, Bengals, Giants, Commanders, Cardinals, Falcons, Saints, Cowboys, kind of Cowboys still think they’re okay. Maybe probably they Vikings still think they got a chance. So anyway, at this point in the season, there are 10 teams that are just kind of out. Panthers aren’t one of them. Don’t forget that. Don’t forget that. It’s like make the play just just just oh my gosh, we’re getting into Thanksgiving here and you still got a chance and still playing and still things are still good. That’s that’s all you can absolutely ask for. So, with that being said, injuries, okay, I think and that’s another thing. Don’t forget about this, too. No one’s talking about it. In general, injuries for you guys, not bad. Everyone’s injured. You know, every team’s got three, four, five guys. It’s like, “Dang it, wish we had this guy.” But in general, you got your coach, you got your quarterback. Here we go. Offensive lines are beat up all over the league. So, I I’m just it nobody is done with the Panthers yet. It’s like they have two weeks here to see what they can do against the NFC West. Great teams. It’s like, oh, maybe, you know, it almost feels like SEC Pack 10 type of thing where it’s like, I don’t know. I think the I think the SEC is we know the SEC is really good. It’s kind of in inverse. You know what I’m saying? But when you guys go play each other, it’s like, “Oh my gosh, Panthers can play with the NerS. Are you kidding me? I didn’t” Or it’s like, “No, dude. N it’s different out here in this division.” I have no idea. So, let me know your thoughts in the comments, and we’ll see all of you on the next

  1. As a Panthers fan, I'm just happy we are HERE. Now if we beat the 49ers, which we can, we can do some things…. That loss to the saints hurt us a little…. So I'll give us a 6,7 chance lol

  2. As a realistic fan that didn't see the Panthers beating neither the Cowboys nor the Packers, I am about a 6. Their being in the hunt is good enough to prove that they can dip their cat paws in the playoff dream waters.

The Ghost of Cameron Newton's Panthers will still haunt me until they get playoffs at least once. I doubt that year is this year.

  3. I’ll put their chance at 5.5. So far, they’ve lacked consistency. Other than last week’s game, Bryce Young has looked below average. One thing not mentioned in this video is that the Panthers are only a half game behind Tampa. They have not played each other yet this season and it all could come down to those two games.

  4. Panthers fan here .. we are ahead of schedule with the rebuild .. guess is 50/50 chance .. we need another draft and off season free agency cycle .. but we are making noise so I like that.
