Giants making Jaxson Dart’s future a TOP priority 🏈 #shorts

anyone who’s saying, “Oh, they they’re rushing.” You know, I’ve heard some crazy stuff they shouldn’t play him. You know, what’s the point of playing him? I mean, look, he’s he’s a rookie. He needs to play. The whole beauty of this season is with a record in the dumpster fire is that you can you can play this rookie and he can get better and better. So, maybe next year they can actually like Eli Manning who was a bad player as a rookie for a bad team and by his second year he was a better player and the team was ready to win. We’ll see if that can happen this year. So, um yeah, he he’s um you know um non-cont practice, full practice on Wednesday. Now, he’s wearing red, right? Quarterbacks always wear red. So, non-cont practice for a quarterback is kind of a misnomer. There’s never any contact for a quarterback in practice. So, he went through the practice. Um unless he has any setbacks. Now, look, he can have a setback. Hopefully, he doesn’t, but this can this is not just rubber stamped. He’ll have to meet with a independent neurologist probably Thursday I would guess and then he could be cleared Thursday night or Friday. But yes, there is, you know, 99.9% expectation that he starts.

With Jaxson Dart set to make his return against the Detroit Lions, Paul Schwartz explains why the Giants shouldn’t be overly cautious with their sensational rookie quarterback.

  1. They absolutely should play him, but he has to be told in a way he understands that he can't be sacrificing his body trying to get 3 extra yards on every single run. I love the competitiveness and the guts, but save the heroics for the big moments, and learn to slide.

  2. Eli's 2nd year he won the NFC East, we actually have something to build off of next year. It's been a long time since I could even say that, Let's Go Big Blue 💙

  3. Don't let him play. We need him long term. Another concussion could end his career before it gets started. I personally know that concussions get worse each time. Let him recover by not playing and learning from the sidelines and be totally recovered for next yr
