Big Men Making Key Blocks vs. Chargers | Jacksonville Jaguars

[Music] Welcome into the film room powered by Microsoft Co-Pilot Plus PC. The Jaguars had an impressive physical performance against a really good Chargers team on Sunday. And the Jaguars rushing attack continues to be an edge for them. 42 carries for 183 yards by the Jaguars running backs. And the big boys up front were getting it done. Let’s jump into the film. The first play we’re going to look at a little run to the left side by Bashel Tutin and we’re going to focus in on the left side of the offensive line and of course the tight end Quinton Morris. Look at the job that Quinton Morris does. And then also Walker Little getting a reach block. But I want you to dial in on the effort that Ezra Cleveland has. He not only reaches the linebacker, but then the linebacker tries to cut back underneath. Hello. How about that? That’s what you call a horizontal block for the linebacker. The second play, big guys getting it done. And I love it when big guys can run. Both guys pulling outside, leading the way for ETN. And watch the blocking that they get done on this left side. Both Ezra and also McCary. And it clears the path for Travis ETN. Now look, he gets tripped up. But nonetheless, this is a great job of big men running and leading the way. And we’re going to finish with two plays and we might need a little maple syrup for them. They’re called pancake blocks. Watch Quinton Morris come across the formation on the Wildcat touchdown run by Travis ETN. Look at the finish that Quinton Morris has on Bud Dri, the linebacker, outside edge player coming around. You want to talk about finish? That right there is a finish. And the last play, the 13-yd touchdown run by ETN. You know, and I don’t really need to draw a whole lot here because look what’s happening out front. You’ve got Chumdoga, Robert Hannesy leading the way this time. Watch them both crushing defenders. But my favorite one might be Hany because Hany puts a little extra into this play. And not only does he celebrate the touchdown, but for offensive linemen, pancakes themselves are like touchdowns. Oh yeah. How about that, Hazy? You got to love it.

Jeff Lageman rolls the tape on the Jaguars Week 11 game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers. He takes a look at the offensive line and how their standout blocking led the way for the Jaguars 4 rushing touchdowns and a victory. Check it out on Film Room, presented by Microsoft Copilot + PC.
