On the podcast discussing this, they note that they anticipated Martin making the final roster because of his versatility as well as Sennecke and Kindel likely not participating in the tournament as they are major contributors to their teams.
They also said Cam Reid has been playing at a high level the past two weeks. (Pretty much ever since one of the hosts insulted his play in the early season he’s become one of the better defenseman.)
Lastly, regarding goalies, the hosts felt George and Ivankovic were playing on the same level, but they anticipate George to start because of his history with Team Canada.
