Here’s what Hasselbeck saw👀 #nfl #seahawks #seattleseahawks

You know, sometimes they get you. Sometimes it’s you. Sometimes it’s pass pro. Sometimes the receiver leaves you hanging. Sometimes the receiver leaves you hanging, but you should have known better. You know, like it’s KY. You know your personnel. Is this a rookie or is this like a Hall of Famer? You know, do I trust you to cross the safety’s face or do I not? You know, it’s like it’s not easy. His job’s not easy either. You know, like some of that kind of stuff. And I thought Sam had about 15 16 really, you know, I would say good plays. um we just needed one more or or one more negative play. And I think that’s a little bit the message like, hey, if you had one more great play or um one less critical error, we win. The sky isn’t falling. The world isn’t crashing down on you. Like, we’re going to be okay. But there’s a lot to correct in this game. I think there’s also another message to the play caller. It’s like, hey, when a guy is struggling, um let’s help him. like let’s just take the opportunity for failure out of his hands. Like we’re in these third and three situations and I think we had an interception on third and three where he sped up and then we had another one that was like I think ruled an incompletion but like very easily could have been a fumble. Take it out of his hands. It’s third and three.

  1. The only person to blame on 4 interceptions is Sammy D himself. He made the decision to throw it, instead of taking the sack or throwing it out of bounds and then punting it.

  2. 💯 percent Matt. If you're feeling down look at the game stats we blew them out. Nobody wins with 4 turnovers but we still had a chance to win in the end. Defense was lights out

  3. His history is far too loud in regard to how this game went. There are so many changes that has happened around him yet we suffer from the same result. Matt said it perfect. Take the ball out of his hand.

  4. Sam is still way better than Geno ever was as a Seahawk. I still believe in Ginger Jesus. We will bounce back and be fine. Like EJ4 said, "We got Sam's back". One bad game does not define this team. GO HAWKS!!!

  5. 2 of those picks you got to hand it to the rams. Great disguise of the def backdield . But 2 were on Sam especially that jump pass, but he ( competitor in him) wanted to make a play because of his early game issues. Throw it away. What i really like was after that shit display/ tough game, he still was able to bring us from half yard line to at least an attempt

  6. And sometimes it’s Darnold forcing it into coverage. He needs to stop forcing it and throw to an open receiver. I better see him do that the next time we face the rams and have a mistake free game next time we face these guys in Seattle. I’m sick and tired of losing to the Rams. This game though for how bad Darnold played that we still had a chance in the end tell us that we know we can beat them.

  7. I said the same thing on the shorter downs. We shoulda ran it to protect him. Then use play action after he’s settled down.!! We’re gonna be ok.

  8. Tough game…but we knew it would be. We need to temper our expectations, there is a lot of Superbowl talk, for good reason, but we'll probably be better next year. This team is on the right track.

  9. I said this before the game against the rams. A lot of his interceptions could’ve been avoided if he throws it away or I would like to see him run a little more. All good thoo yoh live and you learn

  10. What you think is gonna happen when other great teams see this and do the same. Pressure him to get flustered? And in the playoffs it will be even more tighter windows to throw. He’s already shown us with 10 ints in pressure moments. So all yall mad cuz ppl pointing this out the matter of fact is in the season yall love the tds and why he’s done to get to a point but when it really matters or in the playoffs that’s not gonna fly so that’s what we need to correct or we won’t go that far… can’t rely on just our defense and hopeful running game to win. You need to score tds not field goals and ints. Hope he makes better decisions.

  11. I agree 100%, on 3rd and 3 with his struggles, you run the ball and if it’s close you run it again on 4th. When a player is shaken like that you got to help him out.

  12. It’s the guys with no souls that wanna snatch the SOUL out of our city

Also he has been fuckin awesome so that was a joke we’re fine BUT DONT CHOKE MOTHERFUCKER AGAIN

  13. Matt is one of the smartest QB’s you will ever hear from. Holmgren (a USC QB) brought him to Seattle to run the West Coast offense. Matt led us to our first Super Bowl as the QB of the best offensive in the NFL that year. It didn’t hurt that we had the NFL MVP at RB or that we arguably had the best offensive line. But I digress. Matt is a very savvy football player from a family of them. His father won a Super Bowl at TE for the Raiders and his brother played QB in the NFL. Matt played 18 years in the NFL. So the short version is this; Matt knows what he is talking about. I trust what he says. He would make an excellent QB coach in the NFL if he wanted to do that. I believe he is very involved with raising his kids and in their sports. I’m glad the Seahawks put him in their ROH.

  14. Thanks for the words Matt! Very good analysis. We will be fine. It's one game. We are 7-3. There is nothing to worry about. And we lost to probably the best team in the NFL right now with 2 points difference.

  15. This is the battlecry of a sore loser…
The Rams weren't dropping those picks…
He's acting like the Rams weren't playing great defense.. And those were just "gifts" ….
He's trying to guarantee a win with a bunch of "what ifs?"
While making it seem like the Seahawks lost that game..
and the Rams had nothing to do with it…

  16. Yes … a lot has to do with the plays called in given situations. That orients the QB to what is trying to be achieved / where the ball needs to go … felt like Sam was forcing the ball downfield. He would have been better off running himself out sack situations.

  17. let's show those Viking's fans that the 12's have their qb's back… Let's show Sam Darnold that we are with him, and that we won't dump him after all the good he's brought to the PNW. He needs support from coaching and teamates and from the fans… so if we do our part, that's a start.. win or lose. This is our chance to show we are the best fans in the league.

  18. you lose a game to a top 4 team in the league where your offense didn't play well and you throw 4 ints, when you kicked a FG with a chance to win the game.. about as good a loss as you can have
