NBA Mini: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Philadelphia 76ers | Extended Highlights
Again, everything right now has been in the paint. Pain oriented for Milwaukee. And that’s what they’re going to have to do. Another touch for Paul George who’s had the hot hand. Boy, oh boy. All eight points here for PG. Drummond gets cous on that shot attempt. And the Bucks now two for nine. And back the other way. You know that the Sixers get up and down real quickly. Side to side action. You know, Philly is aggressive at the point of attack, but he can move the ball from one side to the other. I think Miles An’s got a piece of that, those two options, right? Cole Anthony right now is is the guy who’s in. What do you think that the Bucks are missing the most with with the Kevin Porter Jr. injury? Oh, jump throws it down. You get two actions. You get a a pin down. You get a And I think that’s what they’re missing with with somebody like that that just can take over a moment. Maxi’s got the last eight points here for the Sixers. He’s got the ball right now challenging Sims. Boy, he’s got the last 10. Too much worse for the Bucks here in the first to open up this game. I mean, nothing really went well for Milwaukee. And to be down now 11 after then it’s going to be better shots. Getting those paint touches. We’ll take more air balls from Paul George, too, by the way. Gary Harris finding carry Trent Junior. The all carry connection. Bobby Poris checking his feet directing traffic. Spins towards the baseline. He gets it. Bobby Poris a great start. Five of six shooting. He’s got 11 points to lead the Bucks. Only 13 plays. Gary Trent seeing the matchup. If you’re going to play small ball, Bobby loves that. Much different story like we talked about just in the day at the office for the NBA world. Philly starts out 0 for five. Look at Jericho challenging Drummond. Getting his first time. [Music] [Applause] [Music] They finding Drummond not going to get his shot blocked that time. Bobby Poris the first in the first quarter. AJ Green the second victim. Here’s Miles Tunn. The Bucks are filling it up from three in the second quarter. Drawing help. And now it’s just catch and shoot. That’s rhythm. And the three’s fallen. The points are coming. A little bit of energy. until there. This guy just was an ultimate silencer. And it it just looks like all he does is live in the gym. They’re giving that shot to Watford. Doesn’t shoot a lot of three-pointers here this year. The no look. Caloosma finding Ryan Rollins with the payoff from the corner. Exactly where Ryan Rollins was. I mean, Coozie staying poised. A lot of guys, they’ll, you know, you fumble the ball, you’re in the paint, you don’t know how long you’re in there. gather himself, stay composed, know where his shooter is, know where his outlet is, and Rollins does the rest. 13 assists on 18 buckets. And you see the three-point shooting there in the second quarter. They trail by as many as 13 [Applause] takeover by Miles Turner. [Music] [Applause] Maxi a deep shot. How that ties it at 55 [Music] [Applause] and Paul George takes it away. Maxi bounce pass. There’s the rookie. He’s had a couple of transition looks. Edgecom for the rookie in 20 minutes of play, but they’re going to be very few minutes without Tyrese Maxi. And here’s a turnover force. Here’s Maxi with the finish. Maxi’s got all the moves and all the shots. And especially when you’re playing against someone like that on the other side. KMA count the bucket and Antoine coming for adopted his inner Giannis. You think about it, all he’s everything has been get to the paint, get to the paint, get to the zone. Ever since they went to that zone, it’s really given Philly a tough time and it saves their legs a little bit and allows them to make sure they can keep attacking the paint and punish them there. Yeah. Get more of those kind of shots to BP, too. You know, they they’re able to bounce that and balance that very very well. Barlo with the offensive rebound and Maxi just sits there and sits on that three-pointer. 35 points now in the night and and you know they’re going to be Yeah. the long rebounds like you said it. You know they’re coming forcing those three-point shots. Stepping it back. Mr. Cool coming and collected. [Music] Maxi between the legs behind the back. It’s a deep shot. Oh, he’s feeling it now. This team to win. Milwaukey’s going to have to keep stepping up and try to take that ball out of his hands. can’t afford to give extra shot opportunities there to the Sixers coming into that timeout. The Bucks trail by two. Ryan Rollins three-pointer kissing the way back. He says, “Give me that.” We haven’t seen Andre Drummond since he left the game. 854 in the third quarter picking up his fifth foul. AJ four shot on the way and it’s a good one for Terry. you know, the the attention Rollins is going to get, you’re going to have to manufacture those double teams like he did when Yiannis was there. And Ryan Rollins has a double double with that assist, by the way. And and there’s Edgecom got Miles Turner at the top of your screen sitting in the corner. Kyle Kosma going to work from up top and it’s a takeaway and the lob play as the Sixers get behind the Bucks defense, have the Sixers pull away. Yeah, because that invites especially with a young team um hero basketball. This is where I like right now is Miles Turner rather than just sitting in the corner. Most of these guys will be in the the closing group here for Don Rivers. Bucks playing without Giannis here tonight. Brian Rollins with a strong take. He’s got 24 in the game with a left hand. I mean this kid I don’t know which one. His third 40point game this season. 12th career 40-point game. Rollins to Miles Turner in the near corner fires and hits. It’s a big one. Trailing by three. Ryan Rollins to AJ Green. The up. He fires. Oh, big one for Terry Bird to tie it. And one of one. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Two and a half left to play. Maxi steps it back. Not a lot of real estate to use and he drills the three-pointer. 14 coming this quarter. Ryan Rollins all the way to the right. Redirecting traffic. Kyle Koosma over to Miles. Turner fires. Harrow his peak moment as a Milwaukee P gives the Bucks the lead and I love it. Milwaukee was showing bodies to Maxi get out and run. Had an advantage. Maxi’s got half of the free throw attempts for the Sixers here tonight. the next one, assuming that Maxi misses, which he doesn’t do very often. 88% free throw shooter. 4.2 seconds to essentially go get a shot oneonone. Is it back to Rollins? Times a ticket. Brian Rollins for the win. Steps it back. We’ve got overtime. We’ll take all the Maxi misses for sure. Haven’t seen many of them. He’s shot it 29 times. 17 of 29. Brian Rollins blocked by Maxi. The way Maxi is acting, he might take every shot here of overtime. Here’s Grimes. The kick out. Edwards has had some space and now he knocks that one down. Jump shot. Three-point edge here for the Sixers as Andre Drummond is back into this game. Haven’t seen him since early in the third quarter. And Maxi has a 50-point game. Maxi using the rookie screen. probing gives it up. Here’s Edwards with two on the shot clock, one on the shot clock. Wow. I mean, he’s been huge here in overtime, right? To be a non-existent scoreer in regulation. Exactly. And that’s the that’s the league, right? But if you’re Milwaukee, you live with that. You live with that situation. You especially live with that. Grimes back to Maxi. There’s that double team knocked away. They caught it from Maxi. Ryan Rollins back the other way. scores and finishes and it’s a one-point game. He’s not focusing on anybody else but Maxi. Yeah, at the top of your screen AJ face guarding Tyrese Maxi. Here’s Grimes then the double side to go off the bench or off the triple and pulls up from straight away. If we play the rest of this game out without Maxi shooting the ball and touching the ball, we have a chance to come back. Rollins has the answer. It’s a quick shot. Bucks trail by two. He’s just stuck on automatic 121 to 114. He’s tied his careerhigh at 52. Ryan Rollins going for a careerhigh game and you know for it to come short the way after fighting back. It’s difficult but it’s the NBA. It’s a long season get another shot at it’s all ESPN on Disney Plus. Turn it on.
