Interesting article this week about Eberle, his pelvis injury recovery, and his family. I always find it funny when people talk about 30+ year old NHL players like they have one foot in the grave, but this is a great stat.
Eberle is the third oldest player to lead his team in goals this season, with only Sidney Crosby, 38, of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Brad Marchand, 37, of the Florida Panthers topping him in age. He’s also the third oldest leading or tied for his team’s top points total next to Evgeni Malkin, 39, of the Penguins and Marchand.

Thank you for reminding me that I wanted to read this. Eberle has really been an inspiration during my own attempts to get my health back under control. (And it’s not his fault that it’s not going so well! 😂) I’m thrilled that he’s been doing so great this season!
