1. Contreras pretending there was no throw until the last second is one of my favorite gamesmanship moments of all time

2. My favorite regular season moment of the year, full volume every time I watch that clip

3. Was at the game. Went from feeling “oh no, of course this would happen against the Mets” to “fuck yes, we’re a team of destiny” in a matter of seconds.

4. Was at my parents for the weekend watching this… I really really tried to not be loud at this play.

   When I turned around and saw the look on my wife’s face, I knew I failed miserably.

   Definitely worth it.

5. Is this the game the Cubs influencer girl had her epic meltdown over? 🤣
