[Braves] The #Braves today declined to tender contracts for the 2026 season to RHP Alek Manoah and RHP Carson Ragsdale.

    I’ve seen some folks say “they should sign him to a multi-year deal!” They have total risk-free control of him through 2029, at which point he’ll be 35. Baseball’s player retention model is a little fucked up but I’d take advantage of that here.

  2. I guess Manoah’s rehab wasn’t progressing then? I don’t know why they picked him up last season then.
