Why Josh Naylor & The Mariners Are A PERFECT Match | Bob’s Baseball Breakdown

From day one, it was the perfect perfect match. It was the priority for the team. It was the priority for the fan base and they got it done quickly. I mean, he was not exposed to the free agent market. Really, it just to me said that this was the perfect match and it was from day one. He hit the ground running here in Seattle. He talked about how much he loved the fan base here. He’s a guy that if you hear him speak, he doesn’t pander. Everything he everything he says is very genuine and sincere and matter of fact. We interviewed him down there and I I had brought up that, you know, hey, what’s it like for you to be in a pitcher park? Not an And he kind of wrinkled his nose like I don’t think it’s a pitcher park. I think it’s a hitter park. I love hitting here. And the fact that the Mariners got it done as quickly as they did was surprising. I think it surprised a lot of people because if we’re being honest with it, we’ve had a lot of offseasons that have been disappointing and and they have not gone out and and brought in the bats or the the arms that you thought they should. And boy, they they struck first and they struck big.

Bob Stelton (Wyman & Bob) reacts to the Mariners signing Josh Naylor to a 5 year contract and gives his top remaining moves the mariners need to make this postseason.
