  2. He’d need to take a paycut and Petzing would need to go for someone who is going to fit what HE wants to do. Let’s be real though. I don’t see any of that happening. I’m 90 percent sure Kyler won’t be here next year.

  4. Reading into my ability to interpret simple patterns: the Cardinals will do something or nothing at all; it doesn’t matter because they’ll win 5-7 games regardless of what happens

  5. The team isn’t built for Kyler’s strengths. You’d need to replace most of the receiving room, including MHJ, and turn the o-line into a top 5 unit in one offseason. I’d take the 3rd rounder and the one year of deadcap

  6. Look, I get that it hasn’t been the most successful past 7 years, but I’ll be honest it makes me sick thinking he’d play for another team. I’ve been a huge Kyler fan since day 1, and I just want him to bring US to the promise land.

  7. Why would Kyler possibly want to do this after the coaching staff tossed him under a bus because they saw Jacoby Brissett beat the 2025 Dallas Cowboys?

    He’s getting off this train wreck at the next possible stop.

  8. Based on what Ive read, I don’t think there’s any market for Murray in a trade unless we eat a ton of salary which we are unlikely to do. No one will give us anything for him if everyone knows we’re likely to cut him and they can just sign him cheaper and without giving up anything.

    So it is in our interest, and probably Kyler’s if he wants out, to create the impression we are willing to roll with him for another season. Because the alternative to Murray isn’t “a 3rd and some dead cap” it’s probably just “dead cap”. We have to seriously consider running him out there another two years (or at least look we are).

    We probably can’t trade him for anything of value. And we gain very little by cutting him. This isn’t the year to draft a QB or try to sign one. And it’s not like we have anyone on the team we could develop into a long term solution if Kyler wasn’t here.

    I still think the odds of Kyler being our starter next year are better than most here suggest.

  11. The only way he stays is if they cannot trade his contract, and they would have to release him. Otherwise he’s gone and so is petsing.

  12. lol, this is the level of delusion that can only be achieved by following a team as historically bad as ours. They’ll write books about how tortured we were as a fanbase

  15. He probably wants to play elsewhere. Imagine how much we despise ownership…now think of Kyler and his direct experience with ownership.

    I’d want out. Kyler is close to being among the outspoken cardinals who use to play here.

    Tyrann felt this place was buns. Peterson. Talked a bunch of crap as you all may know. Fitzgerald kept his mouth shut because he was paid a kings randsom.
