this popped in my feed this morning, thought I’d share it. the stuff we’re seeing from him doesn’t seen like an anomaly. its good to remember that the Saints were not the only team who were high on him.

Every team loved him but he dropped to round 2? I pray that he’s really good because I’m worried about people if he doesn’t play well
He was legitimately the most slept on QB in a shallow class. Teams did not “love” Shough

Honestly a lot of the throws that were shown in this video are why I was wanting the Saints to wait till ’27 to go for a QB if they didn’t believe in Shough because Sayin makes those same types of throws. Accurate, in time with WRs, able to throw darts, etc, even under pressure.
I’m even more hyped for the game this weekend now.
rattler fanboys still downvoting ol tyler shough lmao, watch when he comes out here and destroys the falcons they gonna be so salty.

I think as usual, Nick Underhill, put it best. His 5 best plays were as good as any prospect in the draft. But his 5 worst plays were also as bad as any other prospect in the draft. So the potential was obvious, but he definitely needed to grow and be put in the right system to thrive.
Really weird. How the narrative was set on him early on. He really is a toolsy and sort of raw qb but he’s 26. Lol
The real test will be if he can assimilate himself to league quick to not get replaced. He has everything you need to be successful though.
There’s a player he reminds me of, who is getting a lot of hate but I think is very good — Trevor Lawrence. They’re the same age too
I can’t wait to see what he does as the season goes on. I’m a ‘hater’ as far as just firmly saying the saints need to finish clearing out these old contracts before a real rebuild can start but having decent ball to watch each week is never a bad thing 😂
…at least until it’s a shootout each week where I need to pop heart pills throughout the 4th quarter constantly like my bengals are doing by having a historically bad defense. Giving me flashbacks to mid 2010’s when I finally started watching saints games with my parents
