So, I was told this when I was young. The rats has heard it too. It’s the Swedish thing. So, when you buy a new hind catch a bottle like that, piece of screw cord, you know, first you shake it, nothing comes. You keep shaking it. A little bit comes. If you create a lot of chances, if you shoot a lot of pucks, you got to keep doing that and, you know, eventually the pucks will win. Play the right way. Do the little things right. Stay with the process. You know, you win one game, keep doing it. You’re going to win next game and then a bunches. It’s a ketchup effect. It’s a big thing in Sweden, right? Slapping. But you did a great job tonight getting yourself prepared to play. Um, now we go on the road before which I think is going to be great for us guys. The team embarks on a long road trip out east, starting in Toronto. a homecoming for several Flames players, including Morgan Frost and rookie Zayn Perk, making his first trip home as an NHLer. You know, it looks a little bit unfamiliar when I’m when I’m on the ice rather than up in the stands, but um you know, really excited. I have a lot of friends and family coming. So, uh should be a fun one. The game against New York, just an unreal job with your discipline. Okay, we took one minor penalty and when you look at that, it’s the difference always in games. Last night, Ottawa’s game, four power play goals, game over. So, it’s the difference, guys. So, stay with that. Make sure you’re prepared the right way. Show up in a high quality way. And I feel like that kind of shaped me. My love for hockey was going there all the time as a kid. So, um it’s really cool to go back and play. What’s up, Stoie? Let’s play. Super cool to to grow up with that for sure. As long as we just hand off with our stick, I know they’re not going to have any team. He’s like sifted through. Yeah. and then hit my glove. We’re getting set for a battle between the Flames and the Senators. It hasn’t been easy, but our We have a great locker room in there. It’s not toxic. Nobody’s pointing fingers at each other. Unfortunately for the Flames, they drop it to 4 to the final. The road trip concludes with back-to-back games, finishing in Philly. Play a complete 60 minutes, not 55, not 59, 60 minutes. During his nine seasons in Toronto with a shot deflection to a two-1 lead. In 2019, Nasam Kadri was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche where his game promptly reached new heights. Nasam’s leadership on the ice continued into the 2022 postseason where he continually delivered in critical moments and a heroic return to action. You remember that Nazum Cadry? Do you though? Then came a new chapter when tonight we celebrate more than just a milestone. We celebrate the journey and the legacy still being written. As the Flames hit the quarter mark of the NHL season, it’s clear the 2025-26 campaign will be filled with both highs… and lows.

On this episode, we catch up with Morgan Frost, whose father, Andy, was the longtime PA voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs and helped shape ‘Frosty’ into the player – and the man – he is today. Growing up in The Six, Morgan grew up cheering for the Leafs and listened to the Tragically Hip on repeat in the old ‘ACC,’ so coming back and scoring a big goal in the building he knew so well?

That’s the stuff of dreams.

From there, the Flames head off to Ottawa, where Adam Klapka gave us plenty of stirring moments on the mic. And after a tough outing in Nashville, the Flames finished up with the trip with a massive win in Philadelphia – helped, in part, by the pre-game stylings of Flames Director of Sports Performance Rick Davis, who ignited the boys with an all-time starting lineup read.

But as memorable as that was, the Man of the Hour – Nazem Kadri – took centre stage when the team returned home, celebrating his 1,000th NHL game with family and friends on hand to soak in the moment.

We go behind the scenes, from an early morning gift exchange, to the locker-room and after party to get a never-before-seen look at the festivities!
