Front office really preferred Pacome over this :/

  1. They drafted pacome because they knew they can sign him to a cheaper deal in order to fit under the second apron

  2. Pacome shows skill just hasn’t had the chance like hukporti and kolek and diawara, they’ll get a chance little by little.

  3. People was really out here trying to tell us pacome wasn’t a bust lmao bro was always ass, I remember looking at pacome highlights after we drafted him and went WTF did we waste our first round pick on him for?

  4. Pacome was literally drafted for salary cap reasons(and the other picks traded away) because they knew he would sign for less than the typical value for the pick in order to squeeze out the needed the space for the Bridges trade.

Some of y’all not smart enough to realize this well publicized point or remember how tight of a squeeze that Bridges deal was. The draft was just part of a bigger plan that wouldn’t have worked picking any old player based on strictly value.

He was simply a young lottery ticket to facilitate the main move which was Bridges.

  5. Coulda had Kyshawn George and Aj Mitchell from the same draft but Leon traded them away for nothing. It’s obvious our front office hasn’t done any draft scouting these past few years. Just lazy moves giving away picks.

  6. Kyshawn George wouldn’t get a fast track development like he is on the Wizards. He’s still a flawed player despite having nice numbers. You honestly believe Thibs would have the patience to let Kyshawn screw up for 15-20mpg or more every night?
