Dellandrea Wins Player of the Game Necklace | Sharks vs. Kings Post-Game (11.20.25)

So, how do you feel about being the guy to wear the the necklace? Uh, good, I guess. Yeah, I guess keep her going. Do you like the You asked I said this morning, anybody afraid to wear shirtless? You think it was going to be you tonight? Uh, when you asked me that, no, I didn’t think it was going to be me. But what did you see in your game tonight? Obviously, just like the penalty kill was working, everything was working for you, that confidence. What worked really well for you tonight to allow not only you, but your line to be successful? Yeah, I thought PK was great. Uh, ASI was great. Um, you know, Mar Mario Mario Mario, Desi doing a great job in the back end. You know, whoever was out there was was doing great. So, that was really clicking. Um, yeah, I thought, you know, my linemates made great plays. Uh, I gave it to Gods and and he did the rest and and Graford did the rest on my goal. So, um, yeah, I thought they played great tonight. You guys bounced back every, you know, they tied the game three times and then you guys answered with another goal. How did you feel about your ability to do that and and really not let them get any momentum going? Good. Yeah, I thought our group’s done a real good job of sticking with it. Um, whatever happens in the game, you know, it’s a scored with uh about a minute left. That’s a lot of momentum, right? So, um, but us to keep on them and um even hemmed us that next shift, but just not give another one up and and carrying an OT. So, uh, I love our resiliency and just belief no matter no matter what the situation is. What do you think of the atmosphere tonight? Arrival here. Yeah. What did you think of it? It was great. Hey, it was uh loud and um yeah, the tank was tank was loud. It was fun to play against. You hear the chants uh during play, during whistles. Uh it’s it’s loud. It’s a great spot to be when it’s like that. Nice to string a few here to get at home, you know, just to kind of get the crowd on like you said. Yeah, it’s great. It’s important. Uh we wanted to get back on track after that road trip and um it’s huge to get a couple wins here to start this home. Thoughts on tonight? Couple big saves in shootout, you know, third. Yeah, awesome. Unbelievable. Um clutch. You know, he wants the big moments. He wants uh a lot of saves, you know. Uh he could be first star every night it seems like. So, uh he’s been playing great, winning us games, keeping us in games, uh big moments. We got to we got to tighten it up a bit. Um and let him, you know, not let him rely on him. So, uh he’s doing great, but we got to help him out a bit more. Can you take us through that uh assist that you got which opened up the scoring for the Sharks? Yeah, I just got on the wall and heard God’s talking to me. It’s easy to make that play when when God’s is is saying he’s there. So, just passed to him. He had a great shot. He did the rest. How important how important was it for you guys to win, you know, two games after losing two to not let that spiral, right? Two regulation games, you guys don’t play well. How how good is that feeling for this group compared to last year where it just doesn’t get out of control? Yeah, you said it. Just um not letting it spiral. Uh you know, I guess it was kind of three games. That Minnesota one was a little dicey in itself, right? So, um, just huge to kind of nip that, not let it spiral, get back on track. Uh, I think we’re continuing to get back on track and and play like we were, uh, the stretch before that road trip. So, um, just continuing to build you guys, not only to honor Joe Thornton, but Andre Kovitar playing his last game here at the Kings. Yeah, really cool. Really cool night. Uh, I think we came out with a lot of energy and I think that was, you know, for Jumbo having him in the room, read the lineup, uh, what he means to this organization. So, I think we were all pretty fired up to play for him. And then, uh, on the flip side, um, another legend, right? Um, last time coming through here. So, um, two incredible players, incredible careers. So, it’s, uh, fun to honor guys like that. One of your more physical games this season. Uh, what did you think of the team’s response? is something you guys can carry forward as well. Yeah. Yeah. I think when we play physical like that, uh that’s our identity. Um Maro, Chucky, Goody, we’re we’re physical. Um setting the tone that way and and it kind of streamed from there. So, um yeah, I think when we play physical, it changes our mindset to be more aggressive and and uh play through people. What was the discussion after that second uh second break there in the locker room? Second intermission. Yeah, a second intermission. We wanted to keep on the gas, you know, um we’ve been in situations before, you know, where we let off a bit and uh we just wanted to keep on the gas, keep putting pressure on them, uh not sit back. How about the uh the goal that you assisted on? Just how that kind of showed the kind of the different abilities that each of your linemates have, you know, your speed, Colin with his long arms on defense, and obviously Adam can finish there. Yeah, I guess a bit of everything. Um, Adam was a great shot by God’s, you know, that was it was pretty far out and pick a corner like that. So, great shot by him and, um, Graford’s got a great stick. One of the better sticks I’ve I’ve seen getting it on the puck and creating turnovers and and then doing work that way. So, um, you know, really those goals were were their work. When did you realize that you scored there? I just felt it off the foot. Yeah. Thanks, guys. Thanks, Good
