the Giants head coach might actually get to pick who the next general manager of this football team is. I think it’s pretty similar, and we’re going to talk about this later, to the Jacksonville Jaguars job where Liam Cohen took that job because he was able to get the former GM out of there and bring in a guy that he wanted to work with. That might happen here. Say there’s a great candidate out there and he says, “Look, I’d love to be the Giants head coach, but I don’t want to work for Joe Shane. I want this guy to be the GM.” And if the Giants are in love with that candidate, I think that they would pull the trigger on that.

If you’re letting the coach pick the next GM, might as well let him be GM
So it has changed I was under the understanding that the GM picks the coach or at least had some input into it.
Joe n Kafka will be the run for next season might have a new DC but I think this will play out
