Today is November 22nd! In case you missed it, the Mets have non-tendered LHP Jose Castillo, RHP Max Kranick, LHP Danny Young yesterday.
Adam Ottavino turns 40 today! He actually pitched for the 2025 Yankees, in 1.2 innings, striking out three and walking four.
Jay Payton turns 53 today. The Mets drafted outfielder Jason Lee Payton in the 1st round of the 1994 MLB draft and debuted in 1998. Payton had an RBI double against Jonathan Niese in the 2025 old timers game at Citi Field.

“Juan Soto and Starling Marte were at the Bad Bunny concert in the Dominican Republic”
Unc(le) Marte still got it!
Was thinking on a what a Senga trade might look like. Wonder what we’re even looking to get on a return? Prospects? Pen arms? Really not sure what he’ll even net us in a return
I wonder how much of the position player acquisitions we make are going to be dictated by improving our offense against LHP.
