r/NYYankees: Can we have Corey Seager?
Cashman: We have righty Corey Seager at home
If the Rangers are allegedly dangling him to shed payroll, the Yankees need to be ALL OVER HIM DAMMIT
Andujar and Frazier should get the job done
I wonder if he had no health issues if they’d still be shopping him
Going from injured Volpe/Caballero to Seager at SS would be incredible
Please, please, please
As big an injury risk as he is, adding Seager would give the Yankees the two best players in the American League. Especially if he’s a salary dump, I just think that’s worth the risk.
Volpe to 3B?! Hahaha.
I like seager, I dislike the effort that went into the article

Volpe + Gil for Seager. TX eats 35 to 50% of Contract.
Get it done, Cash.
I’ll take a little leaguer at shortstop honestly. I know I’ll get the hate and downvotes, buts really how I feel.
I’d take this over Tucker 10/10. On top of getting an elite player they’d be dumping Volpe which is like a double positive
Didn’t the Yankees not even bother making him a contract offer?
Corey Seager, Manny Machado and Bryce Harper. Can you guess what these three names have in common?
This is most definitely the reason why Boone and Cashman get extremely defensive when Volpe is being criticized.
They could have had Seager for money. Not only did they go with Volpe they even mocked people for criticizing Cashman for going this route. Cashman thought he was gonna come out of this looking like a genius. Instead he has egg on his face.
This was a bigger miss than Harper and Machado.
6 years $190M commitment for his age 32-37 season. Would be a hilarious admission of defeat. Can’t see Cashman do that.
I’m 100% for doing whatever we can to get Seager.
Couple things to keep in mind though:
1) Another lefty bat. We still need righties.
2) His arm is not good. So the idea of moving him to 3rd eventually might be an issue.
I would rather just pay Bo Bichette the same amount of money. He’s younger, not in a decline, and would only cost money instead of money + prospects…..
I don’t really lose any sleep over Seager because we’ve been more than a shortstop away from a title in 2022-25.
The one time we got close in 24, Volpe was actually playing great in October.
Injury prone, 31, 6 years left. No thanks
Stanton for Seager contracts straight up. Which side would need to add $ or players?
Whatever they had to give up it would have been worth it not to look at Volpe’s narrow ass for 3 seasons.
how do u not want this guy, idgaf if hes injured as long as hees healthy for playoffs, he’s so clutch
