Texans might actually make the playoffs

Damn I can see why brown has a ring now.
I don’t look forward to CJ running 20 yards backwards and making the oline look worse…
OK so if the o-line has improved, and by all accounts it has, and the receiving room is healthier and the rookies are stepping up…
Seems like a lot of those early single-digit losses might have been single-digit victories.
Seems like we might have a crack at the playoffs.
We’re obviously going to run the table and win the Super Bowl.
I think it goes both ways tbh. Yes the O-line did get better this year as the season progressed, but CJ needs to make better, faster reads and get the ball out quicker just like Mills. We were starting to see this with CJ against the 49ers and the several plays against the Broncos. It’s unfortunate he couldn’t further progress and get more comfortable with this against the ‘easier’ teams like the Jags and Titans before visiting the hostile environments in Indy and Arrowhead.
I have high hopes though! It’s exciting to have some hope again.
The O-line has improved since the start of the season. We’re not seeing constant free rushers like what Stroud was seeing early on. Our line used to be horrible but have improved to below average. That’s huge.
I feel good I was the first one to start a Trent Brown article weeks ago.
TBH, All the pressure is on CJ now.

If he gets time, every game will look like the 49ers game for CJ.
He is absolutely elite when he has time. It will be 2023 CJ with healthy receivers and a historic defense.
Pressure is now on CJ to deliver. This could be the run that re-establishes him as a top tier QB.
He was feeling it in the Denver game, too. Hopefully he picks up right where he left off.
Stroud is obviously the better QB, but Mills gets through his reads faster and is much quicker to check down or throw it away. That’s still Stroud’s biggest weakness, and it really makes it harder on the offensive line and exposes any flaws in pass protection.
Not trying to be a CJ hater, but how much of this is Mills being a better QB at the LOS. I feel like Mills has made more checks/calls at the line in the last 3 weeks than CJ has made in the last 2 seasons.
Eagles fan here who lurks in this sub. I haven’t watched much outside of the prime time games… hasn’t Shroud been pretty disappointing this year? Feel free to roast me if I’m wrong. Rooting for you boys.
This is definitely overlooked in all the mills mafia posts.
He was fucking untouched (mostly) CJ had been running for his life. I’m still knowing CJ is QB1, but proud we got one of the best backups in the league to get us back in playoff contention while our stater was knocked tf out. Even Mills said it. Ain’t nothing wrong with this. Good job man
