The part at the end about Mets rookies is funny because McLean’s rookie status is actually (barely) still intact through 2026, at this point he’s gotta be the favorite for NL ROTY
I think he was the first “must watch” starter for me since…2021 deGrom? Scherzer and Senga had some nice years between that time, but McLean is electric in a way that brings to mind some of our greats. I legitimately feel like he’s an ace in the making.
