McDavid at the center spot to begin. Panthers come in 73 and one in their last 11 games. Oilers 
finishing up a very long sevename road trip, but you know they’ll be dialed in for this one 
tonight. Bousard holds it in the offensive zone. Put on goal and he score. Rosik off the stick of 
Babski and in the net 25 seconds into the game. Wow, that was uh just a hope right forwards and 
you’ll see the puck come back over here to the near side and just a turnaround shot. And I I the 
only thing I can say is maybe Barbroski cuz there wasn’t a lot of volume on this shot that he was 
just going to try and first one to his defense partner Bush battle in the Panther zone. Shot 
right on is stopped. Opportunity there for Trent Frederick right at the net and Babski responds 
with the save. Petri paired up with Sbrango. Memphis just want to just play some basic 
hockey here. get into this hockey game. Here comes Zack Heyman off the wing. The 
shot tucked away. About a minute and a half for him. They can get the change now. 
Samoske speeding in. Hunts down the loose puck. Puts it out in front. Deflected and 
they score. Antonell ties the game at one. Pure speed and determination by Macki Savis. to 
strip this puck away from the Oilers deep in the zone. Pays the price. Look at how this play 
develops. Good little shimmy move right there by Samus Scavenage and he just throws it out in 
front. Lendell gets in behind Nurse the defenseman using that good strength. Look at how that puck 
off the end of the stick of Sambage. How he could cup it and just at a bad angle put it in front 
in the second poke by Lundell to tie the game. gets to the Panther line. Forsling written out by 
Nurse. Puck taken by Bousard. Laid out in front and they score. Answering back Ross Levitic for 
his second of the game already and it’s two to one Oilers. A tough break for the Panthers. That 
puck squirted free right into the high slot area and onto the stick. The puck. He put it over 
to Rosik. Look at how it just goes out high and then back in the Rosik then before Sergey Babroski 
could get set. He thinks that Bousard’s going to fire that puck. So he comes out does Babroski 
to cut off the angle but penalties already. Three goals on the board. We’re not even halfway 
through the opening period. McDavid and Dryside on the fouron four on together. Here comes McDavid 
cutting and shooting and Barski with a big save. McDavid. Look at how he comes into your pitcher up 
high here. There’s a pick on Forsling and McDavid with a little shimmy move and then gets the shot 
from a bad angle right between the legs there of Jo. They didn’t have 2,000 the last two Junes 
though, did they? Here’s a chance and Bolinskus has it go off his stick. Fry Shidle moves in. 
Pass back. McDavid gets into the slot on the back hand and Babroski makes the save and he covers. 
What they did right there, Panthers got caught a little bit. Nico Mikola and Marian and then that 
play down low as Conor McDavid is forced on his backhand looking far side. Babroski gets a stick 
on it first. Seavoy blocked away by Petri. Seavoy again gives back to Nurse. Oilers worked the 
perimeter. The nurse shot blocked in front. Yeah, Colt shoots and scores just as the power play 
came to an end. It’s three to one. Those are those dangerous shots when it’s blocked out in front. 
And for the Panthers, even though they killed off that penalty and that free puck comes right to 
Eol, there’s the shot. There’s the block and then it’s right onto the stick of Ecom and he fires 
it through the screen. Different angle of it. And look at that puck just squirted right 
back out forward and before the Panthers could recover. Now Jack Deine gets the shift with 
Greer not in the game on the penet line. Second NHL game for the 22-year-old. Heyman shoots. 
Big save byki. Puck loose. Picked up by Verhi. Vinskus hustles after it. Turns shoots. Tipped 
at the net. Marian tries to jam it home. Skinner makes the save. And then here’s how this 
one developed. Takes a funny bounce off the end boards. And Marian had that open short side. Put 
out in front. Heavy pressure by the Panthers all over Aulan. The Edmonton Dango through the body. 
Bed point blank stopped by Skinner. Head coach Paul Maurice on the bench coming up here in 
the second with Katie. You hear what he’s got to say about how this game has developed. 
Off the draw, cut and shoots. Good save. Skinner calm and patient with that puck. 
Goes glass. Gets it into the Oiler zone. Here’s P. Coolen the other way. Sharp angle. 
Shot goes in. He snuck it in upstairs and the Oilers have a 41 advantage. And that may be 
it for Sergey tonight. Just a tough one down the left wing side. And you’re going to see 
right here. Yeah, Sergey Babroski is already down. He’s anticipating this bad angle shot, but 
it’s perfectly placed right off of his shoulder. Here’s another look at it. Watch his shoulder. The 
numbers right there and underneath the crossbar. Panthers look for one more chance on the power 
play. Bolinsquez fires. Knocked down in front. Bennett tracks it down. Bolinskus again cross ice 
feed. Savage scores. Nacki makes it four to two play goal. I don’t believe but the Panthers 
right in the dying seconds of this power play. Bolinsquez who has been so impressive with 
that puck fakes the shot slides it over and Samuskevich goes short side for his third of the 
year. That’s a huge goal with 10 minutes left. What a shift by the Gregor line. Here 
comes Seth Jones from the sharp angle. Skinner the save. It’s loose in the 
blue paint. He’s able to cover up. early. Anton Wandell with the puck. Gets to the dot 
and shoots. Skinner the save. Rebound score. Sam Reinhardt out in front. The comeback cats are 
within a goal. Don’t touch him. Reinhardt, you’ll burst in flames. That’s 11 in the last 12 games. 
Panthers on the power play. Big juicy rebound off the shot from Lundell. And Reinhardt with one of 
the best hand eye coordinations just swats it out of the air right between the legs of Skinner. A 
quarter of the way through the season, he’s on a 45 goal paint. Carries out to center. Mapani for 
Pud Coulson. He breaks in. Pod Coulson gets to the net. Runs into Terasov. He was stopped. They 
gave it on for the final shift of the period along with Dside. They get into the zone. Tryidle. 
Oh, and Terasov stayed with him and cut it off. Second period. Takes the feed and he goes to 
that back hand and look at the outstretched 6’6. Good play there. Here’s Samoskevich snapping it 
up high. Bolinsquez lets it fly wide. Samoskevish down in front. puts it in the net and Skinner’s 
got it under him. Rodriguez digs it three to both up to center. Reinhardt Mikola jumps up. 
Rodriguez hits Mika in front. Same rebound and McDavid takes down both taking a perfect pass. 
Look at Rodriguez just puts it on the tape. Another look at it. Nik Mik was so on his 
backhand. And then you’re going to see Bowis just gets flattened by McDavid. Goes hard into the end 
boards at home in deep for McDavid. Lucard shoots. Knocked down in front. Yanort stopped. Yanort 
stopped again. A couple of big ones by Terasaw who had only seen one shot the entire period until 
then. Here comes Reinhardt. He beats Bushard. Backhander. Skinner. The save. Here is Terasoft. 
Watch the reflex there. He kicks out that right foot. Not once but twice. Saving and the Panthers 
go to work. Reinhardt gets around. Booard lost his stick off the mass of Skinner. Samus battling for 
it. He wins the battle. Mackey has Marian breaking in to the slot to the backhand. Penalty coming 
up. Shot stopped by Skinner. Here’s Londell. They’ve got to get possession though. And here 
goes Terasov off the ice. Panthers trying to hold it in. They can’t. Empty net and Conor 
McDavid will score. Oh, just the timing was just terrible. Conor McDavid comes up with 
the puck right here. The Panthers just can’t keep it in. And McDavid with that quick first 
couple of strides. The Panthers are still alive. Dry side takes away though to the blue 
line. Matt Seavoi shooting and he scores. Two empty net goals by the Oilers. Yeah, 
you go back just moments ago. The Panthers tried to get the puck in Samuskevich and 
he hits the linesman. The empty net goal. Take away here. Yanmar racing into the 
Panthers zone to the net and Terasov who stopped him earlier in the period 
stops him twice on a relief of abrupt cutting with one second to go. One more save for Skinner and that’ll do
