NHL Highlights | Senators vs. Sharks – November 23, 2025

Ty Andrea Shane Pinto set for the opening draw. And here we go at SAP Center as the puck ends up into the Shark Zone as started off and after it goes Sanderson on it. Here comes Jake Sanderson up on the wing for Pon. David Pon checks up throws it on net stop and he’ll cover it up. Mario will help it into the San Jose zone. Mario Ferraro on it and Ferraro goes off the boards deflected out at center and a look out here comes Celibbrine first rush of the game and his shot was block centered Smith scores. We’re really looking forward to seeing this young San Jose Shark team play and of course Mlin Celebration and Will Smith and they don’t disappoint on their first shift. You can see the frustration by Jaru as he’s just asleep at the wheel as further video review. It was determined at 1838 the play was offside. We have no goal. Well, all that for not. Shabbat to center for Stutsla. Tim Stuts hand over the line. Hands it off. Dropped it back. Baron with a shot right on. And it’s stopped by Melkovich. That’s across intended for Celibbrini off his stick. Cabbrini. Try to move it back in the middle. Ferraro lets it go for Clingberg. Is shot towards the net. Stopped by in the lineup, but he’s on this trip. That puck checked up there on Cousins. He’ll move it for Shabbat. Out ahead for Holiday trying to find a little space. Got the shot away on net and Adelovich will cover it up. It across for Celibbrini. Dropped it back for Smith. Throwing over to Clingberg. Here’s Clingberg towards the net. Tipped in front by Kerselle. But he caught the crossbar. They had one called back. And then this tip here catches iron. Now he’ll try to knock it free in the corner. Coach Sharoo there as well. Centered for Sanderson. The stick works. Good point kick is but it’s celebr defense in their end and that’s what he does. Unfortunately the pucks the when he got the pass his stick snap. So now he’s coming back into his zone. He doesn’t have a stick to play with. So the only thing he can do is be body on away from Sanderson. The drive goes wide as Jeru is after the loose puck. He’ll play it down into the corner. Patterson around the boards for Stutsla. Up high to Sanderson. Back for Stouts. Skates it in in front. Tip scores. Amario in the slot. Gets the excuse me, Dylan Cousins in the slot. Got his stick on it to tip it in. A power play goal. One- nothing Ottawa. Just good movement along the top. And Stutla is is really really crafty with this puck coming in. This is not a shot on net. He lays it to the middle looking for a tip and that’s exactly what he got as soon as the stick turned over by Dear. Dehorn has the stick in the lane. Well, and that play by Wenberg stepping out from the side of the net. That’s just a simple play on the power play. Here’s Horlock over to Kurv. Dumped it in. It’s glove by Mark. He thought about playing it but elects to hold on and takes the hit. as it’s high in the air at center now. Grab by Reeves. Hangs it off. A stop chuck to the net. Stopped by takes the hit. Toi after it. Tyler tooli with a shot. Stopped by now. Allark without a stick. Here’s Hecwin to Celerini. Cambrini at the line. Righted off for Clintberg with a shot scores. Top corner power play goal. Well, that’s how you make somebody pay for taking a run of one of your players. You can’t do much about it at the time, but you got a power play. You sting them on it for the San Jose Sharks, who score a ton of first period goals. They ranked second in the National Hockey League. Their first one was disallowed, but this one, make no mistake, Celibbrini is going to lay this over to Clingber, who’s had a really solid first period. And he looks like he’s going to find a pass on the scene, but Wenberg, I think, is going to go through the vision of Allark right there. You just see Wenberg crossing. Mars Eller behind the net trying to dislodge the puck. Little stop Chuck in there as well. Comes to the point. Shabot with it. Tease it up. Melkovich the save and then Darren and Eller going to do a little stick swinging. He’s going to have to hurry here. 8 seconds left in the period. And here he comes lining it up into the Ottawa zone. Dropped it off for Smith. Smith in tight. Great chance for stopped by Penguins. War number two. Marcel Deion in his first three years with the Red Wings. War number five. I mean Bello of course famous number four. And then of Benny Lavier came along and I find out Ron Francis for number four in his first year with Hartford. So not too often young players take a number under five. Here’s Clingberg on it. Clingberg looks to the net, takes the shot into the glove of Omark. Slow to get up to his feet. Stutzler on the puck. Stutzler hands it off with a shot knocked away by the blocker of Videlovich. Certainly shook up a little bit, but you a veteran defenseman got to be a little more careful there going back. Quick hot shot by Eller off the draw. Grabbed now pump on the play. Pot comes back to the line. Zoo sends it across Sanderson with a shot and it’s clubed with ease by Nadelovic. We’ll check up the wing and it’s tipped up by Smith. Up for Curvy going to the net. Celebrating great chance denied by Mark. Out to center off the stick of Lars Zeller. Zetterland across for Dylan Cousins. Set it onto the save. Thought he had it for a moment. Muka Madulan and he’ll back up with it now. Muka Madulan feeds it up ahead. Grab drops. Standria shoots off the arm of it back. Circles around. Pass tipped to his drive off the glove of Shane Pinto over the line for Pon. Pon dropped it back. Shabbat to Pon. Looks to the net, takes the shot. It’s the save. Hands it out for Pon. Blocks it at the line. Now has to take it back at center. Tim Stler trying to find a little space. Can’t get by. Power play is over. Here comes Windberg with it. Wberg center. They score. That’s a Person tap in. And then Wenberg, he sees Lilligan coming up the ice here or Ferraro coming up the ice here and he waits for him until the seam opens up. That gives Ferraro a chance to get the shot to the net as everyone is converging on Wenberg. It’s a twoon two. Eller should be looking for who the danger guy is, which was Ferraro. But instead, he gets Here’s Ferraro up with it in the corner trying to fight for the puck. Pulled out by Larseller with a shot towards the net. Adulovic got a piece of it. Dylan Cousins down to Zland. Aden Centerling around the net. Comes out front with a shot. Adelovich to stop. Eller got right in his line of sight at the same time. side steps Kurashv Dylan Cousins trying to poke it free as Hogston goes after it but it’s Olaf that’ll find it and he’s going to throw it up high in the air to center has a little bit of room coming in scores gets the goal against his former team and he ties the game at two place that you’re really familiar with in a building you’re used to playing in and he played for the San Jose Sharks for quite some time. So he comes in here and he just rips it. This is a real goalc scorer shot. This is upstairs on the short t on the short side. This is a laser and you could see it coming. You know, you could see it happening. The Senators are turning over pucks in the San Jose. If you got some confidence around the net, you think he could he could really feel it. And that was a beautiful shot. So third period starts with Ottawa. Orof with it to tool. Broken up by Stutsa. Laid it over to Pinto. Short-handed Shane Pinto around the wall. Great chance and he’s stopping it. So tries to get a little something going. Short-handed to break the two two tie on hockey night in Canada. Up to Patterson at center. Pressured by Smith Stuts sends it back in his own zone. Ottawa regroup. Sanderson swings the break. Here’s Nick Cousins right on the ball and they score. Tim Stola finishes the job. Batson and Cousins had the great give and go and it sat right on the goal line and Stutza got there in time to tap it in the defense core. And this is a great pass by Sanderson. He snaps this thing hard. Bath picks it up and then he goes to Cousins and Cousins makes a really good move to the inside. Nadulkovich thinks he’s going to shovel it to the net, right? He’s just going to go right to the net. So he comes across Hart and Cousins brings it around. Setterland takes a hard hit from Orloff. Here comes Cousins draws the penalty from a step and Wenberg has to win the draw. If Shiru wins it, that’ll be game. And Sharoo won it. Back to Sanderson. He’s got it in the corner. The Ottawa Senators are going to win it 3-2 here in San Jose tonight.

Tim Stützle scored the game-winning goal and Fabian Zetterlund added another against his former team as the Ottawa Senators bested the San Jose Sharks 3-2 at the SAP Center on Saturday night.

  1. The Sharks did not look prepared for this game. Not taking anything away from the Sens. The Sens did very well in face offs and sharks gave the puck away too much but some of that was self inflicted. It came off more like the sharks thought they did not have to be at their best to beat the sens or the team was out drinking or something yesterday.

  2. Протухшая акула валяется на берегу….Движение вниз по турнирной таблице продолжается….A rotten shark lies on the shore… The downward movement down the tournament table continues…

  3. Sens played dangerously aggressive checking game those first two periods. They have won the game, but their plan to be so aggressive led to retaliation and Chabot getting hurt.
