NHL Highlights | Stars vs. Flames – November 22, 2025

So nice to have the positive cancer stories. There not a whole lot of them and uh Jim Nil has a one that I’m sure Scott Oak will get into and rans it back into the corner and it’s the return pass off a stick to Johnson in front. Kulie a save and the rebound is pushed away by Kevin Ball. One could have been called. Then here’s Deon performing so well. So patient thought he had it. Hast sees, hits across and Kulie another fine stop on the short side blocker side and then that one off the post. Branson in the latest to throw it on and that one struck the iron to the left of Kulie. Stars have made it a busy start for Kulie. Hin it over and in. Johnston tips it on. Left back comes out. Francin working down low. transit into Robertson. Another fantastic stop by Deon Help on the from the post on that one, but position save on this one on Robertson who’s blames him picked it up. A tick in the power play department. Thanks mostly to Mike Coronado. Rasmus Anderson. He’s on a roll. Hubo into the slot. Boss turns Coronado. One great chance in the second right through the top of the goal crease. Pull this one over. Kind of jammed up weaker. Here’s a short-handed breakaway from center for Steel. Steel in, shoots. And that one pass the blocker side off the back glass. And what are you thinking? Breakaway. Steel. Head up. Head up. Head up. Back to the line. Baked in behind Kulie again. Grants it in. Out to shot. Oh, that pass. Stopped by Anderson on Hubo up top into the middle. Cadrick down low. Coronado play scores. Fifth power play goal for Coronado and it’s one nothing Calgary and lets the forward pull the puck out. And Coronado has room and Coronado does a smart thing here. He takes it wide. He’s got lots of space. Takes it wide and then beats Casey to Smith blindfold. Pulls it out. missed it and dismissed him. Brian Poke check him and Coronado just okay slides it through man. Twoon one for the Stars shaping up here and Kulie with a marvelous right shoulder stop and confidence in his defenseman on this one. Play the puck. Just play the puck. And that’s what he did. Just play the puck. There’s Hanley lying down. And thank you, Scott. Second period underway. Kusnetsa was bodied into the boards in front of the bench by Foxa. Ball spots Coronado. He’s got two ahead onto Hubo. Nearly on the inside. Fishial now. Hubo across. And a great scrolling stop by Smith Johnston. Capo Biano shot knocked down ring a blocker stop Kulie what a save had to get the pass down against his defenseman now short-handed here come the Flames cold in the back with twoon one a shot and a glove stop by to Smith with a couple of good stops in tight then nobody backs up twoonone for the Dallas for Calgary Dallas trapped and again plays it on a reverse to Pal turned it Blackwell waits right down the pipe. What a stop with the glove. Right down to Coleman a steal. Jerry some room. Drops. Jerry gets it back. Backhanded right on in tight. And another excellent save from Smith to Pahal. Wants to get rid of it. Handling. He doesn’t want it. Goes to Pahal. His shot tipped on. Right past save by Smith. What a reaction. Final minute in the second period. sounds as Hubo comes back up. Coronado, he’s hit hard by Rans and Hubo comes right over. Nice. He had the Terry Fox night. The Terry Fox t-shirt on too while ringing the bell. Terrific plays to Sharon Govich out of Cry on the Flames power play. Anderson shot scores. Joel Farby redirects it and the Flames up two nothing. And Rasmus Anderson gets a shot through. You’re on the power play. You’re the point man. You get the shot through. Gets the shot through. And Casey Smith has no idea where it is. Joel Farabes there. I think it might have hit his leg on the way through lifts up the left skate. And look at Jonathan Hubo. Knocked down at center by Johnny Beecher on the Coleman. It’s now to Sam Martin and just prodd it out of the way by Robertson at the last second. Stars up ice. Robertson wide shoot. Scores. Hot shot means cooling and the Stars have found one in the third. Robertson continues his hot streak. Well, you talked about how hot be his best chance of the night, but he made a good defensive play and then jumps up into the play and this shot right through the defenseman. And you can see from Devin Kulie’s reaction almost cost him. Barby coming up with a puck now. Calry shoots and juggled. It came off of the Smith. Stopped by Culie deep in his net. That one fluttered dangerously close for Kulie as well. Robertson now to H scores. Ro hits ties it late in the third. Two-2 is reached so well. Here’s Robertson along the boards. Okay, he’s going to circle back in deep. Lean, lean, lean. Use his strength. Lean, lean, lean. Perfect back pass and hints blocker side. Quick wrist shot. Devin Culie is back. He’s had such a great game and Stars have found their footing a bit here late in the third out in front and a stop by off of Beck and is that delay a game over to Robertson. He’s going to Johnston blocker stopped by Culie’s trying to hang on here. A minute left in the third. Robertson tried to pick the far side. went down and we will get to overtime in Calgary. Dallas and the Flames tied at two. They have one win to the Stars in overtime. Flames have yet to win in the extra frame this year. Stars played overtime five of their first 13 games. Can’t drive around Jamie Ben. Ball protects. Goes to the line. Morgan Frost now to Hubo. Around Frost Hubo some room drives. Back hand stopped by the Smith. Johnston one on three to the net. Johnston the rebound. Oh, that’ll stay out. Kevin Ball save the game. Closes it off. And you see Kevin Culie has that one lobbed over by White and this is going all the way to a shootout. Morgan Frost one for three this season approaches with speed then slows up onto Smith. Hold shoot. Scores left hand shot. goalie doesn’t go across and you see look across pulls it in at the last second to change the angle. Pulls it in and then just inside the post just now in the shootout. Robertson coming in on Robertson scores through the five hole. Not sure he’s going to be more creative and instead Robertson just sees the opening and snaps it. Coronado returned after the rant and hit looking for a little revenge in the shootout. Matt Coronado on the Smith who stops him. He tried the same move as Frost. So Connor who has a shootout winner this year over the boards for the Flames. Cons backand scores. What a goal from Naz Cry who dust it off. Wait, wait, wait. Make the goalie bite and then Roof Smith plays it pretty well. He comes across and the shooter has to go. Has to score. Two for 12 in his career. Hits on Deon Koulie. stop by Kie and the Flames will lead back to back games for Kulie and Nick.

Matt Coronato and Joel Farabee scored one goal apiece and Nazem Kadri netted the shootout winner to lift the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars Saturday at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

  1. Can we stop with these retaliatory penalties? Rantanen cheap shots Calgary’s best goal scorer of course he’s gonna get jumped, putting Huberdeau in the box for 10 minutes is crazy. Luckily they still won.

  2. Matty C is a beast wow, heck of a battle by him tonight, and a terrific goal. He's really turned it around big time, glad he can keep it rolling and not miss any time.
