It’s Always Sunny… in Phoenix?

The Phoenix Suns last night did something nearly impossible. So before last night’s game against the T-Wolves, teams were 0 and360 when trailing by eight or more points in the final minute of a game. Let’s just say Colin Gillespie had other plans. And so yeah, now all of a sudden the Suns are 10 and six. The same team that some idiot predicted to finish second to last in the West. Now look, what I don’t want anybody to do is the whole, oh, they’re just better without Kevin Durant thing. Stop it. It went 32 and 24 when Durant and Booker were both healthy last year. However, one thing I do buy is that the vibes on this team are better without the expectations of having Durant. And I give a lot of credit to Dylan Brooks. I think the other thing we underestimated with this team is that they don’t control any of their own draft picks for the next seven years. So, it just never made any sense for them to actually be that bad. Now, look, I don’t even think Suns fans really believe this team’s going to end up winning 50 games, right? They haven’t played the hardest schedule. They’re still way too reliant on their bench. I don’t know how Jaylen Green fits in, but I do think there’s a lesson to be learned here about a team that just cares and has a lot of pretty good players on both sides of the

  1. teams 0-3060 when trailing by 8 or more during the final minute

isn't that crazy that the Indiana pacers didn't do this last year? or does this stat only count for regular season

  2. I think Jalen Green and Mark Williams is more productive to a team than just Kevin Durant. And Green hasn't even played yet, or hardly at all if he has. The deep bench is raising the bar. And they really needed to get under that second apron because they won nothing while they were over it. They're basically stuck as a mid team for quite a few years now.

  3. They are better without KD. Thats no an insult to KD it’s just that a team with young guns, wanting and willing to fight every play is arguably just as good if not better than just a pure skill player like KD.

  4. They are better without KD though, this just shows teams are better when they have fit instead of big name players, that’s why the Pacers made the finals and that’s why the suns were bad last year

  5. actually youre wrong if you dont remember the mavs vs knicks game a couple years ago the mavs were down by 9 with less then a minute of game time and came back to win

  6. As a Knicks fan, I’m pretty sure they lost a game to the Mavs a few years back where they were up 8 with like a minute left and lost in OT after Luka intentionally missed a few throw got the ball back and scored to tie the game. Still haunts me to this day.
