Assuming the following players get resigned/cut, excluding the fringe players:

Evan Neal
Eleumunor – keep
Nacho – keep
Russ
Wan’dale – on the fence
Cor’dale – keep
Micah – on the fence
GVR – keep depending on retirement
Schlottmann – keep

We’ll need to trade down to 15-20 and take the best available player between a OG, WR, LB or CB. A safety wouldn’t be awful either.

  1. Trading down to 15 20 is way too far down. We need a top wr coming out of this draft. Its a must it’ll make it that we stay competitive in case a wr goes down like leek. 

  4. Cordarelle Flott who has been a top 15 corner this season, you are on the fence about? I think he’s an easy keep.

  6. Keep Ele and Flott. Id like to keep Dale but depending if they plan to draft a WR maybe not since we already paid Slayton.

  7. Everyone says “oh yea just trade down for a haul”, forgetting that it takes 2 teams to make a trade. This QB class has 2, maybe 3 top QB’s and no unicorn player like Travis Hunter, and 3 teams with significant draft capital this year are the Rams, Jets, and Browns

  10. One of the worst mistakes chronically bad teams make is they take a terrible roster and lockup all their mid players long term thinking they can improve themselves on the edges of the roster enough to make an impact.

    Jermaine Elumenor is the only impending free agent worth a big market level deal to resign.

    Okereke, Runyan, Gano, and Nacho should be cut for cap savings.

    Flott is the toughest decision because his value relys so much on the system the next DC is going to run. His lack of scheme diversity creates and enormous risk of him being next Darius Slayton player thats given a big new contract based solely on vibes.

  11. Why do you hand Russ more free money? Jameis is already under contract and is doing just as well if not better.

  12. No real “special” QB in this years draft, I would not trade down unless I’m still in the top 10! We need all the Blue Chip prospects we can get!

  13. Keep Flott and Elumenour for sure. I’d keep WanDale too, he’s been a solid target for Dart.

  14. You don’t draft guard round 1 as a top 10 pick lol. And its nice to speculate but lets round back to this in January. And Flott is an easy keep.
