The Mets are teaming up with New York Cares for their 19th Annual Coat Drive presented by your local Toyota dealers on Wednesday, December 10, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Mets Team Store at Citi Field. Free parking will be available in Lot G. Fans bringing a new or gently used winter coat will receive a voucher redeemable for two (2) tickets to a select Monday – Thursday Mets home game in 2026. Fans will be limited to one (1) ticket voucher. Fans who donate will also receive an exclusive 20% discount at the team store. Some exclusions may apply. Please note that non-winter coats like windbreakers, jean jackets, raincoats or other light jackets will not be accepted. Fans will be limited to one (1) ticket voucher.   1. A bit of prospect talk for today:

    I don’t really doubt that Benge will be up on OD. Even with the poor AAA slashline due to the wrist injury, the batted ball data was incredibly strong. I think the only question is if he’s playing in CF or LF.

    Conversely, I don’t really see it with Jett. He can’t play SS or the OF so he isn’t very versatile and he isn’t expected to win GGs at 2B. He doesn’t hit the ball hard and there are some whiff concerns. The big thing you’re hoping for with Jett is him having great plate discipline and living off doubles/BABIP and I don’t know how viable that is without defensive versatility to boot.
