OILERS TODAY | Post-Game at FLA 11.22.25

The Orders rise to the challenge in Sunrise, defeating the Florida Panthers by a 6-3 margin, ending the sevengame road trip with a 33 and1 record. Now, Jack Roselovic had the first two markers for Edmonton on the night. He now has six goals in his last eight games as Matias also found the back of the net in the opening frame while his defense partner Evan Bousard had himself a three assist night. Pod Coulson’s fourth of the season was the orers fourth of the night chasing Sergey Babroski out of the crease on just 17 shots. And despite a Panthers push back, Steuart Skinner held his ground with 10 saves in the third alone. 35 on the night while McDavid and Seavoy cashed in on empty netters, giving the Oilers their 10th win of the season. Yeah, I think it was massive. Um, you know, that takes a lot of guts by our uh by our team here. It was a really long road trip with some tough travel uh some uh really tough teams to play against. So, the fact that we were able to come out and get a win, I believe that puts us at 500 in the on the road. So, um you know what, that’s that’s really important. This win was uh was huge for us. Yeah, it was long. It was grueling. Um, you know, I thought our effort the last two games was probably our best. Uh, not easy coming here in Tampa Bay and Florida, uh, playing those two teams, but I thought our guys were really focused and did the little things that we needed to do. Kind of a couple tough breaks in the second period to get them, you know, to make it a tight game. So, going into the third period, um, you know, our job was to push back. You know, it’s kind of it’s it’s how momentum happens in a game. Um they had the momentum going into the third. We had momentum going into the second. Um that’s kind of how hockey works. You know, it’s a little bit of a roller coaster at times and we were able to handle it. Um that’s my job. That’s everyone job. Uh everyone’s job and uh I mean we also got to talk about the PK in the third period being able to shut them down. Um those are huge kills to to keep the game where it’s at and then you know we get an empty net goal and take take it down from there. Steuart Skinner picked up his eighth win of the season. Now we highlight the top pair on the Oilers back end as Evan Bashard had three assists. He now has 20 points over his last 18 games. He became the fifth defenseman in Orilers franchise history to achieve at least 200 assists so far in his Oilers career. Matias Ekhol also had a three-point night. His first period marker gave him 100 points in an Oilers uniform as the Oilers have 14 goals from the back end. that is second most in the National Hockey League. And with seven games done in seven cities, the Oilers can now look forward to just two matchups next week, beginning with the home date against Glenn Godson and the Dallas Stars come Tuesday night at Rogers Place. For this TV, I’m Tony Br.

  1. OMG that thumbnail is perfect… McDavid absolutely ADORES Stu, and it warms my heart πŸ₯° No one is happier that Stu shut up the haters than McD y'know, haha!!

  2. If this game is the measuring stick and the team was put together just beat the Panthers, it’s the rest of the league they now have to figure out.
