  1. We aren’t even in a wild card spot and US Thanksgiving is this week. That’s not good (although we have games at hand on a lot of teams, we also don’t have the MVP goalie…)

Every time I see Stanley – Schenn pencilled in, I get VERY nervous.

  2. Article on The Athletic with [trades for each team that the fan base wishes they could undo](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6826828/2025/11/22/nhl-trade-team-fan-base-players/):

    >Winnipeg Jets

    >2026 second-round pick and 2027 fourth-round pick for Luke Schenn (2025)

    >It is to Winnipeg’s credit that this is such a tough choice. In 2020, subscribers picked Brendan Lemieux, a 2019 first-round pick and a conditional fourth-round pick for Kevin Hayes, who failed to recreate Paul Stastny’s impact as a rental. Lemieux peaked at 18 points in an NHL season and now plays in Davos, though. A 2024 third-round pick and a 2025 second-round pick for Tyler Toffoli aged poorly (he didn’t want to be in Winnipeg), but Toffoli was a plus player who scored seven goals in 18 games. The Jets paid nearly that much for third-pairing defenseman Luke Schenn. — Murat Ates

  3. I hired a painter to do a family portrait, but he keeps drawing us as Star Trek villains.
Turns out he’s a Khan artist.

  4. Miller hasn’t been his usual 3rd pair driver in super limited time this year, still despite that has been better than Schenn so thank god he is in

hopefully he actually gets a run of games to get back to his historical norm, and should lessen the need for another depth dman add

  5. Miller better play like Cale McDavid-Slavin so Arniel has absolutely no reason to pull him out next game.

  6. I like these lines better. Toews isn’t good in that 2C spot so far this year. Frankly I’d like to see Barron get some run at the 3C spot but I doubt they want to push Toews down to the 4th this early in the year.
