Went on a date to see Portugal. The Man, her choice as I don’t know their music. Cool moment of the show for me was when one of their songs opened with a dunk from Dame on the back screen. Seemed to be a mix of highlights of Dame, MJ, and some other basketball moments. Went on for a while and I managed to get my phone out to catch a few clips. Great surprise. Didn’t realize they were from Portland and had love for Dame like that.

They used to be at the games a lot during the more glory Dame years.
They’re huge Blazers fans. I’ve seen them live several times. At one of their shows at The Edgefield they had the Blazers Dancers on stage for a songs.
If you liked them, I recommend listening to In the Mountain in the Cloud. One of my all-time favorite albums

This was about a decade ago, but the lords of Portland brought out the blazer dancers at edgefield too.
Don’t love their music, but saw them open for Mumford (also not my favorite but got amazing seats for free) and both bands put on a fantastic live show. Even if I am not a fan I can recognize when a band has their shit together.
They made a joke about the Yamhill pub too.
