[Charania] Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has sustained a Grade 2 right hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks, sources tell ESPN.

  1. Where’s all the weirdos from that thread that were acting like a second opinion meant he would be out all year at a minimum, and need amputation at worst?

  2. Well, that fucking sucks. Guess it’ll feel really good when braun and AG come back at the same time.

  3. Thank fucking god you assholes were pissing me off with the “he needs surgery shit”

  4. Spencer Jones and Daron Holmes minutes. Please do not allow Hunter Tyson or Zeke Nnaji anywhere near the court. We don’t need anymore reps to confirm they’re ass

  5. If Spencer Jones plays like he did last night the whole time Gordon is gone, it’s going to be a long, long season.

  6. Well that sucks.

Championship odds definitely take a hit losing both AG and CB for so long. This was shaping up to be a really great season too.

  7. That’s a big relief. Definitely sucks for seeding in the playoffs, but we should be getting Christian and Aaron back around the same time after Christmas.

  8. Let’s settle down.

2nd night of a B2B with TRAVEL from central to mountain TZ, losing an hour.

Probably a let down game too. Yes, probably should have handled business but that game was a 50/50 scheduled loss.

  9. Bummed he’s out but this honestly feels like a bit of a blessing. Can’t start and sit alternating game and never really heal like he did last year with the calf stuff. Hope he heals well

  10. Injuries suck, but that is professional sports. Denver is down 2 starters, but that is what the depth that became possible with the MPJ trade is for. Time for some other up and coming players to shine in CB’s and AG’s absence. It’s time to develop Spencer Jones and DaRon Holmes. Both of them are promising young players.

  11. Get well soon Mr Nugget, we need you for the playoffs for more game winners! Daron & Spencer, it’s time to prove yourselves!

  12. Both AG and CB will be back early-mid January. Plenty of time for the stretch run and this team is still talented enough to rack up wins.

Thankfully the bball gods blessed us with a competent FO and we have solid depth. PWat, Spencer, Daron and Julian will all get enough run to develop and help this team close out the regular season in Mar-Apr.

Injuries suck, but the timing on this isn’t bad. Glad Daron got a lot of minutes in g-league that hopefully got him a bit more ready for this moment.

  13. This is ultimately a massive relief, but let’s remember that “re-evaluated” doesn’t mean he’ll be back in 4-6 weeks.

Still, it’s not season ending and AG will be back.

It unfortunately means that we’ll probably lose some games we shouldn’t, but as long as we remain in the 2-4 seed range we should be in good shape when AG and CB are fully back.

  14. So he had a left hamstring going into game 7, and now a right hamstring. If Murray has a rest game it’s going to feel like 2021-22 again😵‍💫.

  15. I need Adelman to stop putting Hunter and Zeke in before guys like DaRon, Strawther, and Pickett. There is no value in giving them minutes if we are trying to compete w/o our two starters.

  16. my advice/crazy strategy to the nuggets: but what if the nuggets rested all season and positioned themselves as the low seed to take on the Thunder in the first round, might as well get them out of the way when everyone is rested and healthy, if they had played the Thunder 1st round last year before injuries it would have been a completely different series

  17. Fuck. Glass half full, early injuries are better than late injuries. Glass half-empty, the fear of being injury plagued all year regardless.

  18. Can’t lie I saw this coming. Nagging issue he’s been playing through and when you have to come out mid game like that… tough.

Will be very hard without CB and AG, regardless of schedule being easier right now than next year. Jokic will have to average like 45.

  19. Shouldn’t have rushed him back on court vs Rockets and maybe it would have been better . Seems like medical stuff fucked up somewhere , knowing about injury and playing him vs Rockets? instead getting him evaluation right away

  20. Hot Take: it’s a good time to get Nnaji some playing time, with primary objective to raise his trade value so we can trade him before the deadline.

  21. Wow that’s not bad at all. Seems like in a best case scenario he could be back around the same time as cb (I’d rather rest him for longer regardless)

  22. Wish AG a full recovery and very much looking forward to seeing him balling again after the new year. Always wish that dude the best 💕✨ That said – excited to see how deep our bench really is this year! Imagine CB and AG out for weeks – at the same time – last year, for example- lord help us. Going to be fun to see how Timmy, Big Val, Bruce, PWat, Spencer, DaRon all step up in their own ways. We’re going into the playoffs with a healthy, robust starting line up 🤞and a battle-tested bench. Unstoppable ✨🥰🔥
