I’m biased as a Carolina fan, but I’d take him over Boozer in a heartbeat
Caleb Wilson has been a solid 2 way player for UNC through 5 games this season
He’s currently averaging 20 PTS/10 REB/ 3 ASTS on the season on 67/40/69 shooting splits. He’s also averaging 2 steals and 2 blocks per game
Most of his shots are at the rim and he his only averaging 1 3PA per game, so I’d like to see a larger sample size of him shooting the ball from mid range or from distance
Caleb could be a good partner for Sarr as he has shown that he is a great rebounder and helps us add another defensive menace to the team. Caleb is also a decent passer at this point with room to grow in that aspect. However, he’ll need to show his offense is more than just dunks, lobs, and finishing at the rim over the course of the season

I thought Mikel brown was gonna be the guy to make this a big 4, but damn did Caleb Wilson change the discussion. A few more games like this and I’m cementing him as distinctly in the top 4, with legitimate questions on if you take him over some of the other guys.
SOOO bummed that Peterson wasn’t healthy for their matchup// edit: was thinking Kansas v duke, he totally did play in this one
Edit: GOD DAMNNN I didn’t watch this one but that third clip on the dunk off the dribble drive is nastyyyy
I’d take him number one
yeah he’s next up
I cannot say enough good things about him. I wish Kyshawn had Caleb’s defensive fundamentals. Almost 4 stocks with under 3 fouls per game is super impressive.
Can he shoot?
Wilson is the guy who could really disappoint someone. Super toolsy but it’s almost all dunks and put backs. He doesn’t create and is more off ball. Still a top prospect who should be good, just seen too many guys in his mould that have limitations that are easy to ignore in college.
Id personally take him AFTER Mikel Brown and Koa Peat. I think Peat is still miscast as a small 4 and will shine at the NBA level with way more to his game than people think. Wilson is the ceiling gamble for sure.
