2. I’ll just say this. I’ve been a giant fan for over five decades. Of course I’ve given up on the season for a while now. I expect nothing from this team, because the owners and manager have shown their incompetence and apathy. But somehow, even though I always expected them to lose, even after they were winning, they found a way to really piss me off. The play calling when they were down at the 3 yard line with a chance to end the game would get people fired on a team with the slightest shred of accountability.

4. I think we learned it was Kafka keeping us in these games all season and not Daboll so that whole “Daboll needs to stay with a dart to keep his development” was a lie and a half. I’d do whatever it takes to retain Kafka as OC, that’s the real magic since we’re actually scoring points. The D needs to be completely redone from top to bottom. Keep Burns and cut out the rest of the fat contracts.

5. Eagles might win their third trophy in less than a decade because the NFC is mid including them. Save us, Daniel Jones—or Mahomes.

6. The fact that the Cowboys have a better record than us is baffling. They’re actually straight up trash

7. Keep Hodgins for next year and cut Hyatt. Hodgins should have never have been let go.

8. I like what I see from kaf, the defense is like Groundhogs Day movie,.you come to expect it now, it’s pretty comical at this point, we should have at least four more wins, at least.

9. I didn’t mind the 4th down call. Showed one coach’s ability to be aggressive. Set up another one to be exposed. I got almost as most joy as I possibly could out of this game. If Dart was playing I might feel differently, but eking out a win with backups and guys who won’t be here next year would’ve added incremental enjoyment at best.

10. …and to think, there’s been mentioned that Kafka had a chance at the HC job. Glad he took himself out of consideration.

12. Carter has been playing worse week to week for a month now. Idk what it is. I think the 0 sacks and losing has his mental fucked up. He seems checked out.

17. We already out of playoff contention, but it has been fun for first time in a while. I know losing is not, but the offense has been great in general.

24. I feel bad for younger fans. I’m 40ish so at least I’ve seen championships. If you are like younger than 20, alls you know is we are embarrassingly bad year after year.

27. Fans screaming to fire Schoen are like flat-earthers. Dumb as rocks and who know absolutely nothing about the Giants.

    The GM is allegedly in charge of deciding who to draft and what free agents to bring to the team. There’s just one tiny little problem. The way the Giants do business. The Giants have TWO OWNERS employed by the team in charge of putting ratings on every player in the draft and free agents.

    So, assume you are the Giants GM. You want to draft a player at position X (WR, LB, doesn’t matter). With that decision made, you need to decide which player to draft at that position. But you have a problem. As a GM for the Giants, you don’t get to decide which player to pick because your OWNERS have ranked all the players at every position. If you select someone when there are multiple players your OWNERS ranked higher, how often do you think you can call your OWNERS failures and idiots before you get fired?

    As the GM of the Giants, you maybe have a chance to decide what position to draft but you have zero choice about out what player at that position to select.

    So, go ahead and scream about Schoen’s picks. Nobody likes his picks. Only problem is, he didn’t make those picks. Tim McDonnell is slated to take over John Mara’s position as CEO when he steps aside. Chris Mara is John’s brother. Both Tim McDonnell and Chris Mara 100% control Player Management and playing evaluations, ratings, and rankings.

28. I don’t understand why people get upset at this point. It’s actually kind of hilarious the way this team finds ways to lose games and getting angry about it is pointless.

    We have perfected the art of playing not to lose, yet doing exactly that.

    What blows my mind is how consistent we are. It’s really hard to suck this bad while actually being ahead for major portions of games

34. As bad as our record is, it definitely feels like we should have a few more wins. Gives me a little optimism considering we’re missing key pieces too.

38. I hate to say some losses are moral victories, but at the end of the day with we are competing in very close games with top teams in the league with guys like nabers, dart and skattebo out on offense. It’s hard not to believe with a proper coaching staff we are right there.

48. This is the first time in a while I’m not rooting for losses at this point in the season so we tank for a QB in the draft. We got one and a good backup and a decent Oline now. We’re probably winning at-least 2 more games anyways after the bye. Just need a whole new coaching staff except Bricillo and someone good making the draft picks.

    Oh and Hopefully Kafka gets a HC job elsewhere so we get the comp picks.
