What uh what did tonight maybe show you about this group? Uh man, that we are a pretty freaking good team. Like when everyone’s going together, man, we’re like we’re we’re a really solid team and we just went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the league and I thought we were we were incredible. You understand that backup goalie doesn’t get a ton of starts at home, but to get the opportunity and and then the way it unfolded for you, what’s it what’s it all mean on a personal level? Yeah, man. It was so much fun. And again, I try not to think too much into things like like I said at the beginning of the year, like I don’t care if I get 50 starts or five starts or I’m not even in this league. Like wherever I am, I’m just going to keep working and doing my thing and controlling what I can control and having a lot of fun with it. And I thought tonight I I had a ton of fun with it and I tried to make the most of it and I’m glad things worked out the way they did. Ask what does it say about Jonathan Hubo? Like that guy is not paid to fight but rushing and defending one of your teams. Just a leader, man. He’s awesome. He’s like one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. so humble, so down to earth, just like a total team guy. And I think that just shows like his character. Like that’s the type of guy he is. I mean, he’s making 10 million a year, like star player, and he’s going and dropping the gloves and sticking up for our guys. And it’s just it’s awesome. And I think I think that energy transfers to everybody else in the room, and everyone feels that, and everyone gets so excited from it, you know, and then we’re all fired up and after that hit, like we were locked in. Like our team was so good and I think I think he played a big role in that. What did you see uh on that five on three penalty that really cool at the very end of regulation? Yeah, man. Our PK our PK was great like all night and uh they’re a really good team of of finding options and slipping pucks to space and getting, you know, some great a chances and I thought our team did a really good job of preventing those and you could see like they were trying and they were really trying and we just had great sticks and we took away their options and and it was great. Our PK’s been on fire recently. Audrey puts you up in 43 or puts you up in the shootout. Take me through that final shot against Yeah, man. I was like I was I was I was pretty I was pretty hyped up. I was like, “Man, this is it.” I told Wolfie before the shootout started because last shootout I got lit up. They scored two goals on two shots and I told Wolfie, I was like, “Man, I was really hoping to shoot out cuz I was like, it’s going to be redemption. Like, we’re going to win. I feel it in my bones.” And then they scored the first shot. I was like, “Oh my god, dude.” And then they hit the post the next time. So, I was kind of like a little bit shocked but like not really. And then I made the save and I was like, man, it was such a relief and it was such an awesome feeling.
