NHL Highlights | Wild vs. Jets – November 23, 2025
We’ll see if that continues over the course of the game. Well, Visitor sets their starting lineup first and the home team has the option to match and our Neil seems to just want to go heat on heat right here at least to start the game. Trenion and Felino each of the top 10 in the league in hits. Tren currently leads the league with 99. He’s coming off a season high eight hits Friday night against the Penguins. Nyquist escaped. Begoian put it back out front. Taves was knocked down by Begoian. Dlo shot got through and a pad saved by Volstead. Spurm waits for the bouncing puck to settle and chips it down into the Winnipeg zone. Minnesota will change. 3 minutes in and you can already kind of see how Winnipeg likes to play the game behind the goal line making the goalender look over each shoulder. Change sides and hit the slot. Baron shot knocked down by Volstead. Rebound comes loose out to the point for Samberg. He plays it across to Peon. Baron try to get it past Jones. Keepy supports the play. Puts on the brakes. Escapes. Spurgeon. Sam Burns with Pock. His shot deflected and Bolstad got a piece of it to send it wide to Moresy. Back for Nether Rider. He throws one on goal. Easy stop for Ballstead. where they’ve been pretty good is keeping the Jets to the outside, boxing out at the net. There haven’t been scrambles or looks like that one from Valardi. This was the secondary matchup John Hines hoped he’d be able to get. If he couldn’t get Ericson against Shipley, he wanted this line of Storm, Felino, and Trenion. Loose puck. Fin tries to jam one by Comry and Comry made a second stop. Nyquist throws it toward the net. Saved by Volstead. [Applause] Been a good pace for the start of this game. Baldi moves in for Minnesota. Flips it across to Johansson. Back to Favor. A shot and a save by Comry. All three members of Wild Nine picked up a hit on that last entry. Comry. There’s a blocker save. They read your scouting report. They tried it. They went there. [Music] Booya moves back in. Banned on it and Samberg comes up with it. Couple of fans in Winnipeg kind of building a line at the blue line. All have to be careful on these entries. Ogden with a quick shot and comry covers and makes the save. Shipley from behind the net. Connor a quick shot saved by Ballstead and Faber leads the charge the other way. Burov wins this draw for Minnesota. Zukarelloo back into his own zone. Broaddin off of his skate. Scooped up there by Peretti. A long shot and Ballstead puck into an area to make the Jets defense turn and to be able to get bodies behind him. The Wild were making plays out in front of the Jets defense. So lost the puck and the linesman skate as he tried to enter but then comes back out to center. Romelo sends it ahead. Baron a shot knocked away by Volstead. Valardi tied up there by Broaddin. Jets come up with a puck. Baron walks off the wall and his backhander is held by Volstead. And the Wilds defense just collapsed. Five right in the slot. There’s where Baron had the good body position. Well, so much of that was Mark Stewart and Dustin Bofflin. You know, seems that when Bachland retired loose in front and Ballad out aggressively to rob Kyle Connor. The goalender stops Connor. It’s still 0 0 shot knocked down by Wallstead. Shley’s blocked and a blocker saved. The rebound the puck seemed to hit the crossbar. It was floating in behind Balstead for a moment. Ends up getting this in the slot. I think got his own rebound too. So Chley backhand now the second one right here with Broaddin down. climbs up, hits Valardi in the chest, and then Jonas Broaddin with the backhand swipe. Oh my goodness, how about this play? He gets just a piece of the puck to stop it from going over. One little touch right there and then reels it in for Minnesota. Bothered a bit by Taves as he comes out to center. Now Middleton moves in, puts on the brakes back to the trailing Felo. A shot saved by Comry. Well, good give and go from Felino and Middleton there on the breakout. It is those two navigating 200 ft and the Wild break. The score is tie and not surprisingly it’s Felino and Trenan the work on the wall. Eurovv finishes and Minnesota has a one zero lead. in Eurovv who who’s just good at finding quiet ice. Gets the pop here, but also credit to Sturm for the change. He’s in the ozone. He goes to the to the bench. Eurov hops on and he just gets in the back pocket of the Jets defender, gets the stick available and then Trenion finds him. Boom. Pretty pass. Quick little shot. They beat Comry Dlo with it there for the Jets. Ayapollo throws one on goal and it’s held by Ballstead. Gets offed up the ice and the Wild made him pay. And now gloves are on the ice. This was starting a while ago. Felo Lowry. Couple leaders, couple big guys. He’s got their hold now. The rights are coming. He’s got such a long reach. Each guy has landed a couple in this fight. Yeah. Helmet’s off now. Referee’s got to jump in here. He’s been out and getting healthy now. Trying to create a spark. Both guys learn a letter. 17 on 17. But there’s respect in this fight, too. Both guys go down. Let the other guy up. Not willing to jump down. Keep piling out. They’re on the ice and the blood is indeed coming from the hand of Felino. Here comes Connor the other way. Cut out by Broaddin. Connor into the slot on the back hand. He goes out to Dlo Samber shot. Sliding saved by Volstead. Stanley back after it out to center ice and moves back into the Minnesota zone. Works pass on the back hand. It’s kicked out by Valstead. will eventually get their first power play chance of the game. Capri sauce pass deflects to Johansson. Baldi backpedals into the slot. Erikson a backhander knocked away by Comry. Throws it around behind. Connor was there. Intercepted by Favor. Twoon one for Minnesota. Johansson drops to the trailing Favor a shot. He scores. Rock Faber with a short-handed goal and Minnesota leads two zero and there’s an overback check from Perfetti here. Johansson, let’s see where he takes the look. He It’s late and it’s it’s verbal communication from Faber. Holler numbers up the ice. Johansson just freezes Morrisy then drops in space for Faber. He uses the screen, snaps it. Top glove over Booya. Tries to spin off the boards with it. He sends it back down low. A center pass. Ericson act with a one-time goalending a huge part of that. Ballstead. I mean, four in his last four starts. He just continues to look locked in. Spurgeon. Zukarelloo jumped around. Keep Capri off keeps it alive. Zukarella to Middleton. Back down low. Capri off. He scores. Capri off with a snipe up over the shoulder of Comry and Minnesota has a three-goal lead. A pretty play from Capri off here knowing that he’s got support there from Zukarella. Quick touch right between the legs. flip the skate up so it doesn’t impede it. Then Zukarelloo finds Sadique. Capri off finds some space. There’s the touch. Then it’s here. Quick little shot. Top shelf. No problem. Zucarella back to the line to Brodin across the favor. Capri off tried to center down the slot a shot and a save by Comry. He’s still been good. Again, there’s a confidence in his body language and the way that he’s moving. Just looks like a goalender that’s got the confidence of being an NHL goalender. Folino out to Trenan at center ice. Nico Sturm drops to go to drive right on. Save Comry. Tren on the rebound and Comry had to make another save as Shikley fires wide. That have two shutouts this season. The Wild have two of them. And now they have the only man with three. [Music]
Danila Yurov opened the scoring, Brock Faber buried a short-handed goal and Jesper Wallstedt stopped all 32 shots he saw to help the Minnesota Wild blank the Winnipeg Jets 3-0.

Minnesota we’re doing rusty at the start but now they’re doing pretty decent now
45 seconds ago 😮
Wallstedt for Calder.
Wally is a beast!
Good lord, Wallstedt is an absolute BRICK WALL. He’s the Wall of St. Paul for sure.
Huge win
Was it my imagination, or did Nino look REALLY lazy on that first goal by the Wild when he lost the puck?
Tank for Mckenna 😂
"Minnesota" went to collect scalps. And Wallstedt – dry matches
Sota! Sota! great hustle from the boys, never letting up on our neighbors to the north. And yes Wallstedt was indeed a freakin wall.
Ez win
Dam, Wally 3 Shutouts , Gus also a couple, Wild boys taken care of business on the Ice, beautiful pass to Faber clean shot, Karill sniper over the shoulder beautiful, keep it Rollin Boys👍🏒
Wild starting to click. 👍
As long as Colorado continues their historic tear MN will get to keep flying under the radar. They’ve quietly put together a 5 game win streak, all against decent-to-good opponents. Goaltending has gone from a question mark to the team’s anchor and it’s giving the guys more confidence to try stuff out and it’s helping the PK and we’re finally seeing more and more guys getting on the stat sheet along with KK and Boldy. Wild currently have the second longest active win streak and second best record for the month of November. But please, keep ignoring them!!
Wallstedt is most definitely in the Calder race
Jets SUUUCKK
I know why Wallstedt’s his last name is Wallstedt because bro is a WALL
Told you. Every year this happens. the Wild's playoffs are in November and December. Get back to me when they've fallen off in March.
