Come back home, big man
*IF* he could get back in game shape (huge ask – and I’m not sure he’d even want to), and was willing to take the vet minimum to be a rotational guy on this current defensive line? He’s 36.
For comparison, Reggie White retired in 1998 at 37 with the Packers, then unretired and played one more season with the Panthers at age 39. At age 37, White tallied 16 sacks (!!!) with the Packers, and he had 5.5 as part of the Panthers rotation at age 39.
JJ’s last season was three years ago, but it was his first *healthy* season in about four years up to that point, *and* he had 12.5 sacks that last year in Arizona.
Bring JJ back on a one-year deal as a 3rd down specialist with Hunter and WAJ as an interior pass rush and/or tackle-eligible in the red zone? Yay or nay?
JJ if you would have come back and played till 40 and wouldn’t have retired this would not be an issues. Now little bro has ammo for the rest of your life.
At least JJ has more playoff wins.
Love him 🤣
Kinda surprised TJ didn’t pass JJ earlier
Would be wild if he actually returned and helped us make the playoffs.
JJ still better
Thats awesome he got to announce that game. I bet they are having a great family dinner tonight.
