I don’t get it. We knew coming into this week that their entire LB corps was injured and we fail to take advantage of that, show up with the same generic stupid ass gameplan we bring every week instead and execute it with the most undisciplined team.
That is 100% on coaching. How can anyone defend it at this point?

Not letting Boz try a 66 yarder or whatever and trusting Mason to convert on 4th and long is literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Elite kickers have a shot to make that now. And we have the best kicker in the league. But lets keep the game in Mason’s hands. I didn’t expect to win this game. But fuck that irritated me.

Tomlin is who he is, he’s never going to change. The game has evolved and the franchise has not evolved with it. Rooneys and ownership are the reason why we’ve gotten to where we are.

And I’m sorry, but even if you are on your own side of the field, and a penalty takes away a first down leaving you with 4th and 9, when there’s only 2 minutes or less left and you’re losing you don’t give away the damn ball! If you don’t make the first down the game is over. If you punt and the opponent gets 1 first down the game is still over, but you didn’t really try. Winners want the ball.
Mason Rudolph isn’t any where near the qb that even geriatric Aaron Rodgers is, but if the sideline shot callers tank the game for you, what are you supposed to do?
I’m gonna use the Reaper Death Seal on Mike Tomlin and Art Rooney 2. This fuckery needs to end
I know that people who know football more than me tell me Mike Tomlin is a genius and us Steeler fans should just be happy with a winning season.
