The New Orleans Saints Are A DISASTER! | Saints vs. Falcons Reaction

All right, I’m tired of this team. I’m over it. This team sucks. We’re bad. I just hate them and I’m tired of watching them and I’m tired of covering them. My name is Jersey Trace Gerard. You’re watching Saints Now by Chat Sports. Um, we have an issue. We have a not not one. We have a lot. Well, this team’s so bad. This team’s terrible. They’re allergic to moving the ball inside the red zone. They’re allergic to scoring points on offense. They’re allergic to converting on third down. They’re allergic to staying on the field or getting off the field in third down. They’re allergic to quite literally everything. Um, the Saints haven’t won a game in that black helmet. The uniforms I thought looked awesome. Maybe it’s time we retire them. I’m just going to say it. Uh, the offense had the ball inside the Falcons 30 four times. How many points did they get? Three. Ridiculous. 75 yd kickoff return from Mason Tipton at the beginning of the game. Ends in zero points. Lovely. Blake groupy. Most multiple missed field goals. multiple missed opportunities in the red zone. This team is terrible. This team is so many mistakes and this team quite frankly is just so infuriating. I cannot believe it at this point in the season. So, I’m tired of watching them lose. If you are too, hit the thumbs up icon, like this video. Maybe we can send a message. Maybe maybe getting a bunch of likes on this video will send the message that mediocrity is not the goal and it’s not what we should strive to be putting out there every single week. Um, you score three points outside of a pick six today. Disgusting. And look, Tyler Shock wasn’t even that bad. He wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t even that bad. Almost 250 yards. It touch an interception at the very end of the game when it was like more than garbage time. So, like whatever. Trying to make something happen. But until the New Orleans Saints stop with bad play calling, until their offensive line can start to put together some good moments, until they stop shooting themselves in the foot, there’s nothing that can be done. And to be totally honest, this game, had you lost to the Dolphins, which you play next week, had you lost to the Jets, had you lost to the Literally, if it was any other team other than the Falcons, you’d probably be sitting here saying, “You know what? It was bad, but I’m just really more so mad that it was the Falcons who beat us. Like, I I genuinely think that the reason I’m so upset is that it is a Falcons loss. But at the end of the day, you were the home team and you couldn’t take care of business. It’s infuriating. It’s frustrating. You have no offensive line. You have no weapons. You have really not a ton of hope coming out of this game, which sucks considering you went on such a high going into the by-week after beating the Panthers. You had the entire by-week to prepare and get ready for this game. And the Atlanta Falcons without Michael Penn and without Drake London were able to put BTA against New Orleans Saints. Hope you’re proud of this Mickey Lumis because this is the product that you’re going to continue to put out and I hope that you’re proud that you were able to do this in front of Drew Brees who was on his first broadcast call in the New Orleans Saint for the New Orleans Saints. So, good stuff, guys. Really, really clap it up. Good stuff, Mickey Lumis. Steph New Orleans Saints. Again, I don’t think Tyler Shuck was all that bad. Like I He wasn’t perfect. He kept plays alive. He had some good moments. He had some mistakes. He fumbled the ball early. It just It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t pretty. Overall, you can’t blame him 100%, but he is not blameless. Great Tyler Shuck. I really don’t care who is at the quarterback position. Nobody is going to get a win. If you’re playing like this, if you can’t get field goals, if you can’t score in the red zone, if you’re relying on the Taesm Hill gimmick just to try to get a couple yards, eventually it’s going to get sniffed out. Eventually, it’s going to be stopped because guess what? Taesm Hill is washed. Stop force-feeding him. He He’s a washed product. And that is okay. But he is washed. You got to stop force-feeding him. And for some reason, the New Orleans Saints are addicted to force-feeding Taesm Hill. Offensively, they were fine on the ground. They couldn’t get it going. Alvin Chimera ruled out early in the game with an injury. Um, it was kind of an interesting saga. He was ruled out with a knee injury. Um, Alvin Chimera gets tackled by Kadan Ellis. It was a weird tackle. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury, so that’s not awesome. but now he has this knee injury that’s kind of keeping him off the sideline or off the field. Um he goes to the injury tent, he comes off, he’s running up and down the field, then he goes to the locker room and by the time we get out of halftime, he’s ruled out with a knee injury. So, not great. But I got to give a lot of credit to Devin Neil for stepping up. Uh he was the only running back today after our Alvin Chimera went down because you didn’t elevate Otter Estimate as we know Kendra Miller’s out for the season. Taesm Hill is not a running back. So Deon Neil was the only back on the in the running back room after the injury to Alvin Chimera. I thought he played well. The stats aren’t going to jump off the screen, but he had a ton of good moments in the receiving game especially. Um he needs opportunities. You you you can’t you can’t stop feeding him. He needs chance after chance after chance. He’s a young, ultra-productive player. He did have some sparks. He was running really well downhill. Uh, and he was one of those guys who I thought was very effective. But for some reason, the Saints ditch ditched running him with the football in terms of his rushing yards. Finished seven of 18 like you see on screen, but he finished with five catches for 43 yards. Deon Neil, I thought, was fine. Chris Olive, you couldn’t get him going. He was making plays. He was helping out. He was doing things here and there, but it just wasn’t enough to get the offense moving. I love number 12, but t what’s his. You just were unable to make something happen, which sucks. And at the end of the day, we were unable to get the offense moving. And Chris Ave is pretty much the only part of the offense that is a spark. And there was not a fuse there. Uh Jawan Johnson fine, was okay, made some plays. He gets a bad rap because of all the drops he had early in the season. He’s actually one of the better producing tight ends, but the end of the day doesn’t really matter because, you know, you can’t score points in the red zone. You can’t score points and you can’t move the ball. You can’t do anything right. I’m just so infuriating or I’m so infuriated. I’m so upset, disappointed. And for the first time, I’m going to be honest, this is one of those like, wow, I don’t know if I have faith in Kell Moore. I I genuinely don’t know. I genuinely don’t know. The defensive line was struggling to get pressure. They got home a lot, but they didn’t get home enough. Kurt Cousins today was sacked three times. There’s a handful of those that you could have got there and could have had more. Cam Jordan had a strip sack, which was sick. But like when the offense is doing better at breaking up passes than the defense, that’s just, you know, what are you going to do? What are you going to do? I think it’s time that we retire this Tasm Hill goal line package. He isn’t the player he used to be. I think it’s time that we gut the defense. Find some guys who are going to make some plays. Trade away the guys who aren’t. At this point, you can’t trade away everyone, but like for the love of God, can we get somebody to make a play? There is not an explosive bone on this roster. There is not a player on this team who has an explosive element to their game. The Saints ran 78 plays from scrimmage and they were unable to get a gain on a single play longer than 18 yards. Unexploss, uninspiring, unproductive, quite frankly outright bad. That’s what the New Orleans Saints offense is. Defensively, it’s not great. I mean, you thought that it was okay. You did a great job against the run. Like you did a phenomenal job containing the run. Bejian Robinson and Tyler Algier. 70 yards for Bejon. 44 for Alier. Like all things considered, that’s pretty solid. It’s pretty good. But don’t get it twisted. Probably the biggest guys to blame are going to be Kell Moore. They’re going to be Brandon Staley. Gonna be Phil Galliano. They’re going to be Blake Groupy. Blake Groupy sucks, man. And I’m not somebody who likes to talk poorly on a human being because at the end of the day, there is more to life than football games and to winning rivalry games. But Blake groupy has been so bad, it’s actually just outright disgusting. I think he needs to update his LinkedIn account yesterday. Uh, he is going into, oh my god, I’m looking at the stats on ESPN. 73.9% field goal percentage. That’s 36th. Lopez, remind me how many teams are in the NFL. There’s 32 teams. There are four teams who have a backup kicker that is better than Blake Griffy. Get him off the team. This the Saints legitimately might have the worst special teams unit in the entire league. It’s disgusting. What was the biggest issue? Was it offense? Was it defense? Was it special teams? Was it coaching? Was it play calling? What was it? Um, we asked the live chat. 202 votes. 76% say or 76% say the offense is the play. Didn’t feel good. Man, this one didn’t feel good. And I hope that the Saints are proud of the outing that they put out there. They shouldn’t be, but this is their own doing. They deserve every ounce of nonsense. They deserve every ounce of BS. They deserve every ounce of disrespect. And they deserve, quite frankly, they they they deserve to lose these types of games. They deserve to lose games that they don’t have business losing. You had no reason to not win this game. The Saints had everything going for them. Jimmy Graham honored as the legend of the game. Drew Brees on the call. Fresh all black uniforms. Tyler Shuck’s first start in the dome and it was empty halfway through the fourth quarter. Again, I think that I’m upset more so because this was a loss of the Falcons. If this was another team, probably wouldn’t be this upset. But goodness gracious. That was not fun. That is not ideal. And everyone can get in the comments and say, “Trace, it’s a rebuild. It’s not supposed to be pretty. What’ you expect?” I get it that it’s a rebuild. I get it. Thought we weren’t gonna win a lot of games this year. That doesn’t change the fact that this doesn’t suck. Everything about this was so bad. Um, I don’t really don’t have much else to say. I’m sorry that this has been kind of a bad video.
