  6. They get ALOT of open and good looks and have been missing them. Them being 12-4 and that happening with all the injuries just bodes well for the future

  9. The Lakers are just talented AF but not particularly at shooting unless they on but the thing is it might not even matter. They have Luka, LeBron and Reeves. I’m not glazing them but just respecting them because I’m not the hating type.

  10. The Lakers are tied 1st in the NBA in Field Goal Pct (50.6%) this season (even after tonight).

    Shooting 42.3% on Jump Shots. 2nd in the NBA.

    Shooting 33% on 3-PT Field Goals which is 26th in the NBA. But the question is still garbage.

  17. I mean they were 36.6% from 3 last yr which i think falls under “good shooting” compared to now which is probably just 31% after this game lol

  25. To an extent he’s right. Luka is shooting 31.7% and AR is 32.6%

    Both of those guys are usually in the upper 30’s. So once they get some positive mean regression their standing as a team will go up

  41. Yes it will. The only “shooters” Lakers added this year after previously struggling with consistent 3pt shooting for years are Laravia and Smart.

    Both aren’t anything special, hitting about 35% just like everybody on the Lakers who can shoot a three.

    This will result in some games looking great when 4 guys catch fire, other times it will look like they can’t hit a basket and in the end they will again suffer in the playoffs because in today’s league you either need to catch lightning in a bottle and have your roleplayers shoot lights out for the playoffs or have 2-3 actual shooters on your team who are reliable at least 80% of the time.

  49. Even Lukas 3 isn’t falling and he is still averaging 35/9/9 on a 12-4 team….if LeBron is fully healthy and the Lakers shots are falling more consistently, the west is a fuckong bloodbath and I can’t wait for the playoffs.
