New Orleans #Saints Beat Themselves Before The Atlanta Falcons Could

Hey, correct me if I’m wrong here, but as it turns out, a win over the Carolina Panthers isn’t worth a victory lap by the New Orleans Saints. Coming off of the bye-week here in a winnable game at home up against the rival Atlanta Falcons, the Saints come up short and failed to get their third win of the season. So, what is it that got in their way against a severely hampered Atlanta Falcons team? Well, stop me if you’ve heard it before. red zone execution, poor poor play calling, and poor field goal kicking. Despite a really strong start by the New Orleans Saints defense and an extremely supportive crowd here, especially for a 2 and8 football team, concerns continue to mount for a New Orleans Saints team that just can’t seem to get out of its own

  1. Moore is a one and done HC because I have seen better coaching from first time HCs and this has been a cluster freak of a mess. Furthermore, the irony of both local franchises to lose to Atlanta teams in the last 24 hours is dreadful.

  2. Moore no more!! He had two weeks to prepare for this game and he doesn’t look like he knows what he’s going to do inside the 20 and he is always lost looking on his face and if we notice it his team surely is noticing it!!

  3. You nailed at the end – “they can’t seem to get out of their own way”….players are on the field but it starts with coaching.

Moore has only coached 8 years, including a year as QB coach. He deserves some grace but poor roster aside – its gonna be short if he can’t find a way to inspire his team.

  4. Think we really need to start the discussion as to whether Kellen is a head coach because his side of the ball has been awful this year! I know the talent level of the offence is low but they surely can’t be this bad with a guy that is supposed to be some sort of offensive genius! Also Ruiz is absolute dog shit! Every time the QB under pressure all you see is Ruiz chasing the guy pressuring because he missed another block!

  5. When Rattler was in, he was the problem. Now, the problem is not the QB, it's the coach.

Hint. It was the coach before. Don't lose a good QB because of the talent and the system.

  6. You was one of the main ones sunshine pumping and gassed up over that weak win. And how hurt ATL was. Time to take off those rose colored glasses and start being real about the current state of the Saints

  7. Why do you operate from the shotgun on 3rd and goal from the 1 foot line? Why do you roll Taysom out on 4th and goal from the 1 to throw a low percentage pass play? This is really dumb play calling.
