NOBODY Wants To ADMIT This About The New England Patriots Right Now…

I feel like nobody really understands how good this New England Patriots team really is right now. And I know they’re not beating the best teams in the NFL. They’re going to take on the Bills and the Ravens soon, but they’re executing at an extremely high level right now. Take a look at this play. We’re going to get a little bit of pre-stat motion. We’re going to send Deario Douglas out into the flats to the outside. We’re also going to fake this uh hand off to the to Trayvon Henderson, I believe. Now, our tight end is going to be running like this corner or this out route, whatever you guys want to call it. We’re going to get a clear route to the top side, trying to get rid of the DB and the top side safety. Now, off the play fake, boom, we drop back in the pocket. They get immediate pressure here off the edge. So, Drake May does an incredible job hitching or stepping up in the pocket, essentially avoiding that outside pressure. Boom. Now, look at his eyes. This is what we call pure manipulation of a defense. We are staring at our um our dump down here. Now, you may be thinking, what does that do, right? It’s going to move these defenders up, right? And remember, we have that corner out by the tight end. So, as these guys are reading the eyes of the quarterback, they bite up. We leak behind the second level of the defense and boom, Drake May finds him wide open down that left sideline. Remember the clear route as well. We had a route going down the field, taking away the deep side safety. Nobody’s there. Walk-in touchdown. There’s the clear out right there. Matt Collins. That’s just such a beautifully wellexecuted play there for New England. And that’s how it is done. That is how it is done. If I keep looking over here, it’s cuz I’m watching red zone um while these games are going on, by the way. But yeah, great play to start this, not start the game, but start the video. Another really good play here. We’re going to get a top side just stop, right? We’re just going to show for the quarterback. From there, we’re going to be running like this out, I believe, and then we’re going to running a seam with Austin Hooper. Now, we see how all of these defenders are kind of on a a line, right? defensively. Not really, but kind kind of are, especially over the middle with the second level of the defense. Now, as we drop back in the pocket, we’re we’re just reading how shallow or how tight this coverage is. And right here, we see them in a backpedal, but they’re not fully they’re obviously in a zone, right? They’re obviously in a quick little zone. So, their eyes are going to be on the quarterback. They probably have two eye safeties. And we’re going to throw this ball early up the seam in a tight window. And it’s a beautiful throw. I cannot wait to see the all 22 for this throw because if you look at it right, there’s like four guys in a box and you got to layer this over the second level of the defense and you got to put it at a point where your guy’s not going to get absolutely smacked when he catches that football and I feel like low key he doesn’t really get hit. It’s a great job by Drake man this offense. One of my favorite plays from the defense in this game. We are going to get a full slide of the offensive line to the right trying to sell this little run fake to the running back. He’s ultimately going to leak out into the flats here early. Now, whenever you’re playing in a full slide with your offensive line, usually your tight end or your running back will pick up on the man side. We call this the man side because it’s usually just unblocked. They’re also going to crack back this tight end to pick up on the man side as well. So, full slide protection. They got two tight ends working on the man side. Again, he’s going to leak out of the back field. I want you to pay attention to Joe Flacco off this full slide, off the playaction fake. We drop back. Now, you see how his eyes are looking down the field. We are trying to manipulate these second level defenders. Point A, point B, point C. We’re trying to manipulate these guys to stay in line because usually quarterbacks will throw where they’re looking, but ultimately they’re trying to manipulate you into opening up this little window uh towards the sideline in the dump down area. And boom, he’s going to turn. He’s going to pump fake. Now you see him pump fake right here, right? Acts like he’s gonna throw something. Quickly, looks down. You need to be able to have some arm strength to get this here. Marcus Jones reads it like an absolute book. Boom. Jumps it easily. Probably one of the easiest intercept interceptions he’ll ever have in his life and takes it back for six. Man, that’s just a great job. Hey, be careful. Be careful with this pass defense, man. They know what they’re doing. They’re extremely well coached. And right here, big time interception. Terrible decision by Joe Flacco. Ends up being six for New England. Another nasty play here by Drake May. So, first thing that we notice, obviously, it is third and 11 on this play. They’re showing a bunch of pressure towards the line of scrimmage, but they’re ultimately going to be dropping back into what looks to be a Tampa 2 where this guy’s going to be covering a deep half. We got another deep half back there. These guys are playing really soft coverage. But these three middle guys, right, we got a hook curl. You’re gonna get your mid read. You’re going to get your hook curl. Okay? So, these guys are all in zone. Now, what we have to understand is we’re running this seam over the middle of the field. This guy, the mid read, his job is to actually turn, run, or sprint down the seam. His back is going to be turned away from the quarterback, which means he is the guy in the deep middle part of this field is where we want to target on third and 11. Right? So, we drop back. We see him immediately, right? He’s not looking at the quarterback anymore. He has no idea. And also a plus on top of that, this guy’s not looking at the quarterback either. So we have two guys who don’t really know where the ball is or where it’s going to be, right? So we drop back, we throw this thing with anticipation. Boom. Now, as the ball’s down the sideline, this guy still has his back turned. Again, his job is to turn, run up the seam, and follow whoever’s trying to attack the seam. Right? But look, he places it towards more the middle of the field, and he doesn’t put it right on him. He knows Douglas has to make a play on the football, right? We can’t put it o over him because the linebacker’s there. And that was such a good throw. Elite. That is an elite throw right there by Drake May. I won’t I won’t say anything else. It’s an elite throw. Okay. Again, I cannot wait to watch the All 22. This dude’s amazing. And really quickly before we get any further, guys, do me a favor. Hit the like button. Helps out so much. Monday Night Football is officially here. We got Packers, we got Eagles. Should be a really good game. At least in my opinion, it’s got that potential. Now, I am having so much fun on the Sleeper app. I can possibly over 1,000x my money every single day on this app. And it is been so much fun so far. And I kind of wanted to share you some of my picks before we do so. And you guys can see them. But if you use my promo code dubs, you see it right here, you are going to get a 100% match deposit up to $100, which means if you put in $100, they’re going to give you $100. If you put in 50, they’ll give you 50, right? It is a steal. A steal. I would do it just for that. Now, take a look at my picks. I’m going Saquon Barkley, more than 50 rushing yards. AJ Brown, more than 40 receiving yards. Jaylen Herz at least one touchdown. Jordan Love more than 200 passing yards. And Romeo Dobs more than 40 receiving yards. It’s all lower than you may think. And and I think it’s safe. I 30 to win 63. Not too crazy, not too wild. Let me know what you guys are doing for tonight. Are you going big? Are you staying safe? Let me know. And let’s get back to the video. Another dime here by Drake May. We’re essentially going to see a quick little out. We’re going to get outside leverage or outside leverage go ball fade route here. We do have one high safety to the top side of the or to the bottom side of the field. So, we definitely have to get that guy moved over to more of the middle if we want to hit this little fade by M. Collins. But, we know we’ve got a nice little size advantage here, which tells us if that safety towards the right side moves over a little bit, throw the football. Right. So, off this snap, he’s actually going to bite up. That’s huge. And now, boom, they blitz the linebacker. Now, this guy is probably matched onto there, which means now we’ve got a one-on-one. Yes. No read. We are throwing this football pretty much no matter what. Once we see this guy bite down, boom. He looks, he throws it under pressure. Laser. Okay, maybe not a laser, but drops it into a bucket for a big time first down here for the New England Patriots. Once again, Drake May is continuously proving why he is one of the uh premier quarterbacks in the NFL, man. At least in my opinion. Maybe I’m a little bit cooked. I don’t know. But uh Drake May is him. Now, I am going to end the video here. I want to save the majority of the film analysis for when the actual all 22 comes out. Here’s a quick little in route uh from Kyle Williams over the middle of the field. Dump down. Boom. Pick up your first down. Move the chains. Kyle Williams has blazing speed. Blazing speed. I can’t wait for them to get him more involved within this offense. I don’t know when or if that’s going to happen this year. Maybe next year, probably. Um, but definitely excited about the future of this Patriots team, but also this season. They could go far. Uh, so yeah, like I said, we’re going to end the video here. 1. Pats escaped Cincy with another W. Those O-line injuries might be too much. Really hate to see Campbell carted off. Playoff outlook looks bleak but the rebuild is cooking. LFG

  2. Are you kidding? This team is a red zone offensive disaster. They are junk inside the ten and the Bengals held them off at the goal line like 25 times today. They are holding on by a prayer right now.

  3. Things we are doing great

    Clutch 3rd downs
    Chunk plays
Defense shows up when it matters most
    Answering back
    Special teams
    Run Defense
    WINNING

    Things Pats are doing bad
    Short yardage Red Zone
    Converting on opportunities
    Keeping foot on gas pedal
Games too close against lesser teams

I’m Excited but nervous about playoffs and upside this year – can we put it all together this soon? It feels like we need that bye and home field advantage to truly go up against Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, Colts, Broncos when it matters and be able to beat Rams, Hawks, Niners, Packers, Eagles, Lions in a possible Super Bowl.

  4. I am a Patriot fan!!!! Your assertion that they are performing at a high level is insane!! AS this season moves forward the weaknesses are showing, especially when they get in to the post season!!! As strong as they appear they have not been challenged at a level they will need to get through the post season!! Just take as much as you can until you can't!!!

  5. They were terrible and still won just barely. Offensive line was terrible at run blocking and mediocre at pass blocking. Defense was sketchy but came through in the end. Maye was meh. Some great corner play.

  6. They struggled against the worst defense in football, so I'm not sure what game you're watching but….no. They're not executing at a really high level. They had 8 goal-to-go plays in a row and they couldn't score a TD.

  7. They're good, but they barely pulled it off. And those offensive line losses are going to hurt any playoff run. I just don't enjoy seeing guys get hurt, even the opposing team's.

  8. "Executing at a high level", but couldn't get into the endzone on NINE tries (2 possessions) inside the 5 yard line.
Too many bugs to work out still, but glad to see them managing to get the "W".

  9. Squeaked by with a lot of injuries. Not a pretty win but as long as we get to the bye week without any more injuries we should be good. Hope Will and Wilson are okay

  10. Which qb in this game is actually invested in his team? Both of them threw a pick 6 in the early part of the game.. both of them handled it quite differently. Maye ended up taking a hit trying to tackle the guy who intercepted him.. Flacco.. didnt even move his feet, from the time the guy caught it till he hit the endzone. That says a LOT!

  11. After 7 downs they should have kicked that field goal to go up 7 couple times this season theyve gotten too aggrasive pick in the endzone couple weeks ago definitely getting to where we need ro be tho goodshit

  12. The Pats endured some injuries that wil hurt them going forward, but they got a win because McDaniels saw they had no interest in covering the Middle of the field. The league just got a class in how to beat the Pat's. Their playoff win hopes took a hit today.

  13. That Flaco interception was a horrible throw. When you watch it from the camera showing Flaco's PoV he threw the ball without looking. It was a "heads up play" by the DB/LB but Flaco was "2-steps" late in throwing that.

I will say that it made up for the Pick-6 NE gave Cincinnati at the beginning of the game. Not sure if that throw slipped or what but it looked horrendous from all angles.

  14. Patriots are winning games That's all that count for now . Stop worrying about Playoffs ,still got a ways to go before we start worrying about that next chapter. On to the next game . And who cares about what Cam Newton says ,he a washed up QB anyways .

  15. I was hoping with the extra time to prepare they could play a complete game. Instead it was ugly and had chase played we probably lose. Even before the OL injuries we struggle to run block and our d looks tired. Our lack of depth is starting to bite us and i think we are 1 and done in the playoffs.

However, this sesson is a success and has been fun to watch and has gotten me excited about the future. Go pats!
