Hornets at Pacers: Coach Charles Lee Postgame Media Availability | 11/19/2025
Thank you so much, Eric. Uh, before the game, coach, you did say that this Pacers team was better than their record. What did you see out of that tonight? Yeah, I thought they did a good job of playing with pace, executing their offense, and getting some good looks. Um, but I would say I thought, um, on the other end of the court, we got some really good looks in that first half. Weren’t able to convert. Uh, obviously didn’t shoot a great percentage from the field or from three. Um, and I thought that just like affected how we guarded defensively, and coverage is not always tight. Um, attention to detail not always great, but I love the fact that we didn’t give in to having a frustrating shooting night. The the SWAT kept competing. I thought the togetherness was good. The communication was a lot better in the second half, but it’s tough when you dig yourself that that kind of hole and you give up 30 points in the first three quarters. Yeah, to your point about not giving up. What do you think about what you saw in the fourth quarter to to close this game out? Just a little surge that you saw. Yeah, I love that surge and like that’s what we have to continue to just build on and continue to make progress from that point because uh our our field goal percentage went up, our three-point percentage went up, we got a couple more stops in the second half. I thought our assist went up and you know the spirit of the group was a lot better as we kind of finished that game. Now we have to carry that over, get to go home, get a couple days and then we got a a game on Saturday to get ready for it. Khan Kipple today became the fastest player in endgame history to get to 50 threes. How do you balance celebrating individual accomplishments?

As a hornets fan, you genuinely suck as a coach, we just keep finding ways to lose, our players are doing so well, especially Kon, and you’re ruining it, please get fired.
It is just sad at this point. Jeff needs to step forward at this point and acknowledge that we are tanking. Lee looks without answers for the current situation but it might just be jeff plans to lose again and again to gather top picks. He is not a good coach but he doesn't need to be the only scapegoat.
2nd game running that our terrible shooting from the field has cost us a win. That's not actually on the coach. We had plenty of great looks …..and missed.
FIRE THIS BUM HE SUCKS!!!
What about Jeff like I swear all he cares about is Draft picks he does not give a crap about winning as you can clearly see from him like Jeff needs to be interviewed he does all this work in the off season for no reason and how about helping the coach
I wonder if this dude actually does any coaching
Let’s Go!!! 🍻🍻🍻
Hornets aren't serious or commited to winning… Of all the possible headcoaches they stick with Charles Lee who had 0 headacoaching experience. Hornets have too much talent to waste ! They could've signed a plethora of coaches with championship experience and a winning record such as Mike Brown, Mike Budenholzer and Mike Malone!
this guy is awful and is tanking purposely
all this is BS bc he wants to lose…. melo has to go at this point
