6. He probably wants a chance to play versus waiting for an injury. Our RB room, even despite the injury, is pretty stacked. The chiefs are ass.

7. I believe this is over perceived playing time and active roster status

   Looking at our squad right now, Harvey will get the first carries, followed by McLaughlin and Badie in some sort of a “hot hand” platoon.

   Sean Payton clearly trusts McLaughlin and knows he has big play ability, but he also has limitations. Badie is the no2.

   Pierce probably wasn’t even guaranteed to be active on game days for us, whereas the Chiefs will sprinkle him in as the number three and activate him with the chance to increase carries with production.
