Thank you! This team is not “frauds”. We are good at what we are good at and will improve on 3 as the season goes on. The areas we truly need to improve on won’t improve until a trade happens and none of us(no matter how hard we try) can affect that. So enjoy the wins, I mean we’ve got Luka AND Lebron.
Turnovers and 3P% are the only bad things on offense. If we fix that, we’ll have the best offense in the league.

yea idc about 3pt, they’ll start falling more for luka and reaves, I’m more worried about how Lebron is really the only legitimate transition wing on the team
If Luka and AR can hit at 35% or better this team will be very good. OKC looks a cut above everyone but they’ve also played the easiest schedule and in the NBA now a days you never know.

Good teams find ways to win even when they have bad games.
A team does not put up points like the Lakers are without overall shooting efficiency.
Their 3s are not dropping, but you have to think everyone will start to get back to their career averages. Especially since many of the missed 3s are wide open.
If you’re glooming after only 16 games, with Lakers holding the 2 seed (currently) then maybe you’re not built for this. Find a different hobby

I have seen zero doom about 3pt%. To the contrary I’ve actually seen a lot of optimism with people often commenting that the offense will be incredible once the shots start dropping.
Number one offense in the league shoots less threes than any other team, sure they have one of the best percentages but live and die by the three is not really the game anymore. Hopefully.
Yeah the 3PT shot will improve over time. It is indeed a bad look, but in the meantime we’re 12-4 and the best in 2PT% so stop being doomers.
We are clearly not a top tier team. We are right up there as the leaders as a second tier team. In a 7 game series, we can’t hang with OKC and Denver (assuming they are healthy). Probably will easily win 50 + games, but lack of athleticism is pretty clear. But there’s no way we beat top tier teams unless OKC has some injuries in the playoffs and we are fully healthy.
It’s great that we’re winning games against mediocre and bad teams, but it’s fair to point out that we haven’t played at the level we need to to compete against the top teams in the West. The team is still gelling especially with LeBron just getting ramped up, but the lack of athleticism and motor in most of our rotation players is very apparent. We need to work on that, whether it be a system change (similar to our crazy defensive run last season from December to February) or a personnel change (trade).
