Seems like a significant segment of this subreddit loves to hate on Hardy, but I'm a believer. So of course I felt validated when The Ringer threw some love towards Hardy.

  1. I like this line and it’s the reason I’m still watching.

“If you’re not good, be interesting. That’s Utah.”

  2. I have faith in Will Hardy and the Front Office. I try not to be a glazer because those guys are just as annoying as the all out doomers and haters I see in this sub. That said I am still really stoked about Hardy, mainly because a lot of people who do analysis really think he is great. The Ringer, ESPN, and some youtube channels I enjoy have all had high praise for Will.

The past two games he has gotten a lot of hate for his lineups and for that final call, but all in all I think he is a solid coach and will be here for the long haul whether you like him or not. The Front Office has a lot of faith in him, he is signed on a huge contract until 2031.

The only thing I am nervous about is last night was the first time I was looking at the bench and a lot of the young guys particularly Cody, Walt, and Taylor all looked disengaged and uninterested, they weren’t even excited about the final run until Kyle Anderson told them to stand up. Hardy has a lot of young guys that he needs to work into lineups, and when one is shining (Ace) and the other looks really bad (Cody) it has got to be tough to work out the best way to put those minutes together. (yeah yeah I get it Ace should be getting most of the minutes, but I am not the one who also has to see if Cody can develop into anything at the same time)
