[ねこすけ] “I want to take them down. Playing together with players like Ohtani, Yamamoto, Sasaki, and others of course sounds fun, but I think beating a team like that and becoming world champions would be the most valuable thing in my life.” – Tatsuya Imai

Hell yeah. With Imai, I’m sure we can beat them off

Q: Batter you’d like to face in a major league matchup
Tatsuya Imai : “It’s Ohtani Shohei, after all. I really want to test how far my fastball can go against him, or rather, I have a strong desire to pitch against Ohtani Shohei.”
I’d still take him signing with the Dodgers over the field.

Reasons for Wanting a Team Without Japanese Members
Tatsuya Imai: “(If there were Japanese people) they’d just tell you anything if you asked, right? I don’t really want that; in a way, I want to experience that survival vibe, you know, and when facing cultural differences, making how I overcome them on my own one of the fun parts.”

I’m not getting excited. We’ve done this song and dance for 5 years.

This guy seems cool but I’m just not getting my hopes up with any of these guys right now.
Until I hear that AJ had a one on one meeting with Imai and this ownership proves they still give two shits about the team, he’s a Giant or a Blue Jay
We’re not getting him. Or any Japanese player.
Give it up or this’ll be another roki sasaki situation.
Haha 😆 the Dodgers definitely picking him up now
i believe, disappointment is fundamental to the human experience. Regardless of what the odds are i have faith in getting a big free agents
