  4. Holy shit I thought he broke something. He must have wolverine healing factor. Glad hes back out and playing.

  5. Yeah was kinda surprised people thought he was completely hurt from a hit by pitch. Even if he did actually break something, we’re still in November. Those types of injuries typically clear up in 2-4 months which would have allowed the Mets to still rely on him for their offseason plans.

    Happy to see it was a complete nothing burger in the end

    Like him getting reps in CF, I would like the Mets to turn him into a total utility player which means he can play infield and outfield. If he’s our complete backup utility player, my opinion of him goes way up rather than trying to shoehorn him into a starting job. Wouldn’t want him to get traded if we can see him as our permanent utility backup.

    I keep calling him fast Luis guillorme. Bat profiles slightly differently but good defense all around the field, great baserunning and the ability to put balls in play is exactly what I want from a backup utility guy. Better than trying our hand at another Joey Wendle type.

  6. Oh man he’s on the cardinales? Former manager Carlos Mendoza definitely is keeping a close eye on Acuna this winter.
