GENOOOOOOO! Eugenio Suárez hit 4 HR in 1 game with the D-backs + had biggest HR in Mariners history!

Gino last year 30 and 100. Those are the magic numbers on the back of the bubblegum card. Suarez drives it to left. We know it’s Gino. Well, he homered three times this spring. Drove in 18 runs in 21 games and he is starting out hot. I mentioned Steel doesn’t really try to trick you too much. Fast ball slider. Lots of four seamers to right-handers. A lot of sliders to the left. Zenino got one to his liking right there. Well, let’s see. As Gracie pointed out on the pregame show, if they want to work into Gino Suarez, who got the power buzz last night, there it goes. Number two for Gino and the Diamondbacks have the lead. Well, they might have to go back to pitching him in. That’s one way to keep him out of your kitchen. Just hit the first pitch up in the seat. Boy, is it good to see him off to a great start. Yeah, it is. I mean, he got two killer fast balls up and in at the head last night. And that’s how you answer back right there. Suarez homerred to the second and second in this series. Not only has he homered, he’s hit some long homers. Curve ball swung on. That’s it. Well, out to deep left Bale. That one’s going to go. His second two-run home run of the night. There’s 30 for Suarez. his second consecutive 30 home run season and the Diamondbacks have tied it up. That was incred behind it. I thought he skyed that one, but he sked it and crushed it at 110 m an hour on the season. That’s true. But I mean, look at the numbers. It’s outrageous that he’s not in that. And this one’s gone. Yeah, really. I mean, Gracie said it before, you run out of superlatives. This guy has just been on fire. He has 10 home runs in his last 15 games. Oh my goodness. Tags it to left like he never left Seattle. the crowd. Just listen to the crowd, man. Do they love him? Do they love him? Ownership. Listen to that right there. What y’all did right there. Listen to that. That’s what it’s all about. That’s what it’s all about in playoff baseball, baby, when it matters. Welcome back, Gino. Oh my goodness. So, one away for the Mariners here in the top half of the ninth inning. Down three nothing. The batter is a Ueno Suarez. Well-hit ball left center field and this one is going and going and goodbye baseball. Gino with a home run and the Mariners get on the board here in the top half of the ninth inning. It’s now the Mets three and the Mariners won on AU Hano Suarez. His 38th home run of the season. His second as a Mariner. A home run off of Diaz and it’s now a 3-1 ball game. Chino rips this ball down by the pole in left field. It is fair and gone. It’s a one-run game. That ball was tagged. One home run shy of 40 on the season for Au Haneo Suarez. I tell you what, he’s starting to heat up. Gino Suarez is cutting down on the swings and misses. He’s getting these mistakes and he’s not missing them. Wow. This is absolutely lace down and fair gone. Home run tied game. Don’t blink. Gino ties it in the fifth. He saw it at the end of the road trip and and Gino just coming into his own again in a Mariners’s uniform. He got hot at the end of that road trip and just continues it here to begin the home stand. Backto back days with a threerun home run. He only had one home run against Darvish. It was 7 years ago, Aaron, when uh they matched up as a red and a Cub. And this is just an ambush. I don’t think you see too many hit the waterfall in center field as Gino out to left field. Gino delivers. The Mariners go deep twice. The Mariners, are you ready for this? Playing a little add-on here in Atlanta in the seventh inning. Julio and Gino going yard. 52 Mariners. Oh, the Mariners need the cushion and Gino needed that. I mean, it’s sometimes it’s just one swing. A swing like that, a home run like that that’ll get him going. Pretty deep to left. Proar track wall and that one is into the bullpen. Suarez, you talked about the joy he plays with. It’s hard not to have joy when you hit a ball like this. Yeah. Have a day, Gino. It is difficult. Well, I tell you what, we’ve been seeing some big home runs from Gino of late. Even going back to that road trip and just wearing out that breakable, another home run into that left field bullpen off of that breaker ball inside the strike zone. 325 home runs in the show. Man, that is pretty cool. Heno Suarez. Suarez, who began his career as a Detroit Tiger. He swings and sends one out towards deep left field. This one’s way back there and Aueno Suarez returns to Detroit with a bang. It’s three nothing Seattle. They’ve been waiting for Gino Suarez to do just this. He has struggled in the postseason up till this point. Stunned silence for the Tiger fans and the Seattle faithful who made the trip ignited after their prodigal son comes away with a solo shot. And the Mariners building something here with two gone. Swung on. Looper right field. It’s down a base hit. Palanco racing around third base. He is going to score. The throw to third is in time to get Naylor. And the run counts, but Naylor is thrown out at third. And that brings an end to the inning. The Mariners get one. But Barger with that rocket arm that the Mariners have seen before this year. It strikes again. Oh, baby. Got the one to crush and did. Hey, you Suarez makes it one- nothing Seattle. Gossman put it on a T. Suarez did not miss. 51st of the year. And that is a pitch selection they’re going to want back because he threw this right down the middle. But he had been missing a lot of pitches with some pop-ups and swinging miss. And he threw a fast ball for the first time since we’ve been watching Dosman. Middle middle middle. the 22. It’s another fast ball. It’s shruging the other way. It’s got a chance. It’s a Seattle is shaky. The Mariners lead game five six-2. Second home run of the game for Au Suarez. There’s an opposite field grand slam. Just can’t believe they went with a fast. That pitch selection right there allowed him to have a chance to do what he did. And boy oh boy, did he deliver. Shot to right down the line. It’s a fair ball up against the sidewall. Suarez falls. Here comes a throw home. It’s up the line. A Rosarena scores from first. Suarez settles for a single, but he’s made it a 5-2 game. Wow. Was a Rosarena flying off with contact obviously with two outs, but a little dicey if you get thrown out here.
