Will The Miami Dolphins Win The Next 5? Will 10-7 Get The In?!

Are the Miami Dolphins about to go on a really long winning streak? [Music] What is up, Finn fans? Some things happened yesterday that I want to talk about and that really made me put things into perspective for the next five games. Before we jump into that, I do have to shout out the sponsor, Sleeper. Go check them out. Fantastic Fantasy app. Use the promo code DDW. Get a 100% match up to $100. And if you’re like, “Hey, man. So, yesterday this happened. Baker Mayfield gets hurt in the Rams game. Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield has been ruled out of Sunday’s night’s game against the Rams because of a left shoulder injury. After attempting the final pass of the first half, Mayfield fell to the ground and he appeared to be in pain again. He was labeled doubtful of return coming out of the halftime, then was ruled out later in the third quarter. uh he was on the sideline with his left arm in a sling and that put a question in my head. Now, I’m going to make a video tomorrow talking about the 2026 draft and the 2027 draft and you know, is it really a good time to tank? And you know, obviously the Dolphins are kind of in a situation right now where they can go on a little bit of a tear, a little bit of a winning streak, right? because yesterday’s games, the um Saints lost to the Falcons in a big way, 20 24-10, right? We’re about to face the Saints. The Jets lost to the Ravens 23-10, even though uh the Jets defense played very well. Then you have the Steelers who lost to the Chicago Bears without uh Aaron Rodgers, but they did play that hard, right? They only lost by three. Then you have Cincinnati who played a very tough game against the Patriots losing only by six. And then you have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There’s a fivegame little stretch that the Miami Dolphins are about to go on. And what I want to do is I kind of want to look at these next five games and talk about what might happen, right? because some of these teams are banged up and some of these teams are struggle by Cadian. And I’m going to talk to you guys about what I think is going to happen. What happens if the Dolphins win out and does it matter if they win out? How much help do they desperately possibly need? Um because as of right now, this is what the um playoffs look like. You have New England the number one seed. You have the Chargers at the Chargers, the Rams as the number one seed. And then this is kind of how if the season ended right now, how it would look. Um, and all that jazz. So, I’m going to use the playoff machine. I was going to come over here and use this one. Uh, but I’m going to use this one just because it it looks nicer. You know what I’m saying? So, I you know, and the NFC matchups don’t really matter to me. It’s more about the AFC matchups and, you know, I kind of want to see what would happen if the Dolphins won out, won the next six and went 10 and seven because it’s going to kind of coincide and kind of lead into tomorrow’s video because I know a lot of people want the Dolphins to lose as many games as possible and try to get a top five pick uh as best as possible because some want the quarterback, some just want the opportunity to take some of the best players. You know, there’s a lot of reasons why some fans want to lose out and there’s a lot of reasons why some fans want to win out because, hey, you get in the door. Like Devon Achan said, if you haven’t gone over and checked Don Armstead’s video with me and him talking to Devon Aan, uh he said, you know, as long as you get get in the tournament, that’s all that really matters, right? So, I think the 49ers win tonight, but that really doesn’t matter. So, then this week, again, I’m really going to focus on AFC teams. I’m not going to really pick any NFC versus NFC teams. So, I think the Chiefs win this one. I think the Ravens win this one. Um, this doesn’t really matter when it comes to playoffs because again, we’re I’m looking at playoffs. Playoffs. I think Jaguars win this one. I think Colts win this one, but it might get close again. Dolphins are going to win out. That’s I already told you that’s kind of what’s going to happen. I think Chargers going to win this one. This one is interesting. And this is going to be a very good game. Obviously, the Patriots are going to win this one, and I think Denver’s going to win this one. This is going to be a very good game. And honestly, to me, this will dictate what happens between these two teams because as of right now, the Chargers are not in the playoff. I mean, the Steelers are not in the playoffs. So, the Steelers need this win more than the Bills do. But, I think the Bills bounce back and I think the Bills win this game, right? So, as of that, you know, picking these AFC games that kind of matter because again, the Jets, it doesn’t really matter. Um, and then everything else is NFC. This is kind of where you’re looking at right after week 13 off of my predictions. Again, I’m going to pick the Dolphins win all so we can see what it looks like. Um, so the Dolphins beat the Jets. Then I think the Ravens beat the Steelers because I think the Ravens are kind of back here. This one is the interesting one because the Colts always struggle in uh Jacksonville taking on the Jaguars. I’ll wait on that in a second. I think the Browns beat the Titans. Um I think the Eagles beat the Chargers, which is an interesting one. I do think Hello. Hello. Should I just reload it? And this is why I might have to use um another one. Did it save it? It didn’t save it. Fantastic. What did I pick? I think I picked this one. I picked this one. Uh, I picked this one. I picked this one. I picked this one. This one. This one. This one. This one. This one. I don’t know why it glitched out on me. Um, and I think that’s all that really mattered. Yeah. So, then we go here. Again, like I said, Dolphins beat the Jets. I think the Ravens beat the Steelers. Again, we’ll get back to that one. I think the Browns uh beat the Titans. I think the Eagles beat the uh Chargers. Is it going to freeze on me again? I swear I will switch over to the other one. All right, here we go. Not cutting this. Not editing this out. We are switching to the other one. That That one can kick rocks. Okay, so we’re we’re over to this one now because it’s being dumb. So now this makes it easier because I have all the AFC uh stuff in front of me. So, like I said before, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Um, I think boom. And then we are obviously picking that one. Um, boom, boom, boom. There’s that. Just for poops and giggles, I think the Jets might win that one. So, then next, like I said, I think Dolphins, Ravens. Interesting. I’ll get back to it. Browns, Broncos, Bills, uh, Chiefs, Eagles. Now again, this is the interesting one because they always play them hard at home. I’m actually going to go with the Jaguars here. So after week 11 or week 14, you see the Dolphins really haven’t moved at that six and seven spot because again, you have some very good teams and high numbers in that division uh in the wild card. Then we’ll come here. I think Chiefs win this one. Ravens. Um, this is going to be interesting, but I think Buffalo takes that one to be honest with you. Um, Jaguars again, Dolphins in my mind, we’re talking about them winning out. Um, Texans, Bears, Eagles, 49ers. I think Seattle wins this one. U, I’m going to go with Denver in this one. Okay. So, after that week, not much has changed, right? You got a little flip-floppy in in this the playoff seedings, all that stuff. Right now, we’re on this one. I think this one This is going to be an interesting matchup. Uh but I’m going to pick the Ravens. A lot can change, so just bear with me. This one, this one, this one. Dolphins are going to win. Um this one, I have the Jets beating the Saints. I think that will happen. Um this one, I think the 49ers will win that one. Nothing has changed. The Dolphins are still the number 10 seed because they are very good teams ahead of them. Look at these records and I’m picking kind of the favorites in these games. Let’s go to this one. I think uh I think they bounce back. They I think they’ll split the series. I’ll go with Chargers here. I’ll go Colts here at home. Patriots. I’ll go with Steelers here. Uh I think Giants take this one. Um I’ll take Ravens again. might be a little bit closer, but I’m just going with, you know, whatever. Uh, I’m gonna actually take the Bengals here. I’ll take the Saints here. Dolphins win this one, and Eagles win this one. Hey, we went up to the nine seed. And again, I’m making it difficult on purpose to kind of prove a point here. Uh, and then the last week of the season. Let’s go. Boom. Boom. Boom. I’m going quick. Doom doom doom doom. If teams that are supposed to win win win, you’re looking at potential 11 win teams again, give or take with these in this division in the the wild card spot. So getting 10 wins doesn’t necessarily mean you make the playoffs. The Chargers might not even make the playoffs at 10 wins. They would probably have to beat the Broncos, but even beating the Broncos wouldn’t get you in because the Charger Jaguars would win. So they would need the Jack. Like there’s so much. So 10 wins might not get you much, right? So going back to looking at the Dolphins, right? Their next five games. They’re facing a Saints team that is not good. They’re facing a Jets team that is not good. They’re facing a Bengals team who probably have Joe Burrow back, but their defense is really bad. And they’re now going to be facing a Tampa Bay Buccaneer team with a big question mark. uh uh with Baker Mayfield and then again the Steelers. I don’t think if you want my God’s honest opinion what I think is going to happen over the next five games. I think they win these next two. I think they beat the Saints. I think they beat the Jets even though this one might be closer and they could possibly lose this one. I think they lose to the Steelers because it’s going to be a Monday night game. It’s going to be cold and it’s going to be in Pittsburgh. I think they win against the Bengals, but I think they somehow lose against Tampa Bay. But when you look at these five teams, they’re not the the juggernauts we thought when the season started. When the season started, you looked at, you know, oh, you got the Jets. The Jets are going to be hard. The Steelers, the Bengals with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase and all those guys, Tampa Bay, look how good they did. This four game stretch here is not going to be easy. We look we even looked at this three game stretch and said he got to play the Ravens and then the Bills and the Washington. We’ll be lucky if we win one of these three games. We we won three of the last four. It was the games that we should have won that we didn’t win. Like say that the uh um Jaylen Phillips made the tackle and we made this that we didn’t have a kick return. All of a sudden, you know, your season looks much different. much much different sitting at six and five and you’re actually playing for something and you don’t trade Jaylen Phillips and all that stuff and you can even come in here and talk about ifs and buts and candies and nuts. All of a sudden we would be above the Buffalo Bills because we split with them. But we didn’t and we didn’t and we didn’t. So we’re sitting at four and seven. And I know I know a lot of people want to win out and they want to get in the playoffs and they’re like, “Hey, we get in the” and I’m not saying you should lose because I will never root for my team to lose. But even winning out doesn’t guarantee you’re going to make the playoffs because all these other teams that are ahead of us, you look at these wild card teams, 7-4, 7-4, 7-4, they have a threeame lead on Miami. And these games in these teams are going to face some easy opponents. Now, I don’t think uh Los Angeles, the Chargers, have that easy of a schedule left cuz they got to play the Eagles, the Chiefs. The Cowboys aren’t no slouch. They just beat the Eagles. Um Houston isn’t a slouch. They beat the Bills. And Denver’s a good team. There’s a possibility that they go they only win two of uh their last what six games and end up eight and nine. Do I honestly think that’ll happen? No. I think they’ll probably um win these and I think they’ll they’ll probably finish their season sitting at around eight and seven. What am I picking? Oh, uh around 10 and seven. I think that’s where they’ll finish their season. But you got them, right? You got Buffalo, pretty easy schedule, right? The Steelers game is really going to dictate what this team’s going to be. Cincy should be an easy win. Cleveland should be an easy win. Jets should be an easy win. Your hard games are against Philly, um, New England, and Pittsburgh. What is Pittsburgh going to do being that again you lost to the Houston Texans? Are you gonna come out and beat Pittsburgh? And then you have Jacksonville in a division that has eight and three Colts as the number one seed. They face Tennessee. They face the Jets. They face Tennessee again. That’s pretty much two wins for them. Not saying guaranteed. And they’ll probably beat the Jets, but again, Trevor Lawrence is such an up and down quarterback that you can never say never. Why am I doing I did it backwards. Sorry. Um, you can never say never, but even if they do lose these games, which I think they’ll win this one because again, they’re finishing, say they do lose these games, they’re finishing at 10 and seven. Buffalo, like I said, we look at Buffalo. Uh, say Buffalo loses to them, loses to them, and loses to them, but they beat these teams. Boom. Boom. They beat the easy teams. Where are their record? 10-7. But the funny thing is, if Miami somehow ends the season at 10-7, and so do Buffalo, Miami has the tiebreaker over Buffalo. So again, it all depends on the Ravens. It also depends on the Chiefs, who again have a pretty easy schedule for the rest of their season. If you look, you know, face the Titans, there’s a win. and you face the Raiders, there’s a win. Um, you know, so say they lose to the little bit more difficult teams. Did I miss a game? Yeah, this one. Let’s say they win this one. 10 and seven gets them in over Miami. See what I’m saying? A lot of teams I’m I thought I was showing you. I thought I was showing you. Essentially, what I’m trying to show you uh here is if all of these teams are 10 and seven, right? And I and I was essentially picking the easy wins and the hard losses for all of these teams, right? Easy wins, hard losses. Um what I do, Chargers, easy wins, hard losses. And even Buffalo, easy wins, hard losses. As long as these teams are 10 and seven, you ain’t making the playoffs. You would need complete collapses out of these teams. And I’m talking complete collapses, especially with like the Chiefs. you would need them to lose to the Cowboys and um you know lose to the Texans and possibly like you would a Cowboys loss would do it, right? So say they beat the Texans um you’re still screwed. You would need them to lose to the Cowboys and the Texans and then that would bring them down to nine and eight. though even going on a a you know winning out and going 10 and seven doesn’t guarantee the playoffs because of how competitive the AFC is this year with the Broncos being good, the Patriots being good, the Colts, the Ravens, the Chargers, the Jaguars, the Bills, the Steelers, the Texans, the Chiefs. You have 10 competitive teams right now and you have the Dolphins sitting at four and seven. They have to win out and pray that what the Chargers, the Jaguars, the Bills, the Steelers, the Texans, and the Chiefs, six teams, you you have to pray that six teams somehow, you know what, four of them just crap the bed. It’ll be hard, man. The Dolphins really shot themselves in the foot again. And that is why I think the Dolphins should move on from Mike McDaniel even if they get a nine and eight season out of this because again for back-to-back years we start two and six and I don’t want to hear well last year we lost two should have had a better backup. This year you know whatever excuse you want to make this year oh the cap space and oh we didn’t add players and the offensive line got injured. Should have had better depth. should have been smarter with your contracts. Like this is all on the front office and Mike McDaniel is part of that front office. So, you know, they might go on a fivegame winning streak because you’re facing teams that are beat up right now in Tampa Bay who might be better by the time the Dolphins play them in uh Cincinnati. Joe Burrow might be playing um Steelers. What is uh Aaron Rogers risk going to look like? And you have two bad teams in the Jets and the Saints. But I think in the end it doesn’t matter. Um what am I? Lincoln Park because 107 I don’t think gets you in the playoffs cuz I think some of these other teams are going to get you in there. So it’s going to be interesting how the rest of the season pans out. And again I if you and we’ll look at this one last thing. Um if you flip it, right? Say we uh All right. Right. Let’s go in an opposite direction. Say the Dolphins lose, right? We’ll pick the Dolphins to lose the next four, right? We’ll pick them to lose the next four. And let’s pick like some of these teams to shock the world. Um, Cincinnati shocks Baltimore and Tennessee shocks uh Arizona. Um, I think the the Jets can beat the Falcons, right? Um, I think the Giants and Tennessee we’ll say the Giants, but I think they they think these teams you’re number one and number two seed, so I’m not going to be too crazy with those. Um, yeah, I I I’m not going to be crazy with those. I think the Jets Oh, we the Jets won. I was like, where’s the Jets? They shocked the world, right? shock him here and then the Saints shock uh Tampa Bay which wouldn’t be that far out of the realm or possible. Um who do the Giants play this week? Giants have a buy. Um come over here. The Jets beat the Jaguars. Again, Jaguars are so up and down. You know, never say never with this. All of a sudden, you see they could be sitting at five and nine, right? Um Cincinnati’s here at six. So, you know, we’ll just play that smart. Um, this doesn’t matter. Sam Fran, this could happen and this also could happen. The Miami Dolphins could be like one game. Um, or a few plays like say they miraculously win that one or over here they miraculously win that one. Those could be very close to getting a top five pick or a top whatever pick. So again, I am not sitting here saying, you know, oh, we should lose out because, you know, we need a top five pick because it’s not where you pick, it’s about who you pick. Uh, and I’m going to root for this team to win the next seven, six games and see what happens. But I’m bringing down my expectations for a postseason because the Dolphins have really shot themselves in the foot two years in a row. And it really depends on what’s going to happen with these other teams because going 10-7, even going 10 and seven, I think the percentage that the Dolphins make in the playoffs is probably like 30%. There’s some good teams out there. And that’s the same the same can go for the uh NFC. NFC has some really good teams over there. Rams are sitting there at nine and two. Eagles at eight and three. Bears at eight and three. Tampa Bay is the number one in their division, but again, not knocking the NFC South, but they suck. Then you look at the wild card teams. Seattle 8 and3. Packers 7 and three. Uh 49 is 7-4. The Lions aren’t even in the playoffs at 7-4. Like absolute craziness. Panthers at 6 and five. And then again, you look at the other side with the AFC. It’s really competitive. All all three playoff teams are seven and four. So again, winning the next five doesn’t matter. Could the Dolphins go on a five game or essentially a sevengame winning streak? Yeah, cuz these teams are banged up. But do I think it’s going to happen? No. I think they’ll win the next two. I think they’ll be the Jets and the Saints, which I’m being repetitive. I think they’ll lose to the Steelers. I think that’ll kind of put a coffin a nail in the coffin on the season. And then Cincinnati and Tampa Bay. Comment below. What end are you on? I said this yesterday. I’m interested still. You for trying to get in? Are you for getting a higher draft pick? Do you think the Dolphins will win the next five games with how banged up these next five teams are? What’s your thoughts? Or do you think the Dolphins are going to do Dolphin it up and lose one of the games? Comment below. I will see you tomorrow talking about the 2026 draft um and all that good stuff. And then Wednesday the picks, Friday the preview. I’ll be live Sunday for the Dolphin Saints. But like usual, stay classy. I f up.

  1. Just saying. Every single year there are between 1 to 3 teams from the NFC and AFK that have a massive Winter collapse. It can happen to any team. So don't be surprised when a team like Baltimore, Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs etc just have an insane collapse. Not all of them obviously but at least 1 or 2 will collapse. If Miami wins out they will be in the playoffs. I promise you. The reality of them winning out is very, very, very, very slim though.

  2. Call me crazy but the person who I think would be a perfect fit as the new Miami gm that no one is talking about. Nick saban would be the perfect fit. With his connection to the college game he'd have direct access to talent evaluation. He's a guy who would bring in a smash mouth culture that Miami never had. I don't know if he'd take the job but in my mind there's nobody else available that would be better.

  3. There is only one Super Bowl winner every year , so I say root for your team and celebrate the wins . Gunna tell me as a dolphins fan you didn’t feel like kings when we beheaded buffalo ?

  4. Nope we won't win out but we will win enough to get a later draft pick as usual but lose just enough to miss the playoffs. You know the same ol same ol.

  5. The teams that need to fall by the wayside are Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Buffalo and the Chiefs, imho. Chiefs are iffy – the win over Indy hurts us. But I can see Buffalo scraping in. San Diego and Pittsburgh are falling apart – San Diego because they don’t have an offensive line and Pittsburgh because they’re past their sell by date. Jacksonville will probably lose to Indy hurts us- I think the Colts are a fundamentally tough out.

  6. Bro… I know we need content but "playoffs?… playoffs???? We'll be lucky to win another game, you're talking playoffs???? PLAYOFFS?" seriously love the channel… go fish… but playoffs?

  7. I think even if Miami wins out and goes 10-7 we probably still miss the playoffs due to our head to head losses with the other afc contenders. Like ravens chargers and colts. The Steelers game will have a lot of value to it for both teams

  8. It’s not like we doing any damage in the playoffs somehow we land a 7th seed and will likely be a first round wild card exit. I don’t want that tbh yes it’s good on Mikes record and job security. 3 straight appearances. So I am all for the draft and picking higher. The euphoria of winning is not worth losing a potential blue chip player that can make us more competitive. U just never know who will be a bust but dont see why we win unless you want good vibes and to party it up.
